🌃There are many movies and TV shows that feature supernatural dollꩲs, and they almost always play a villain role in the story. Lulu in Final Fantasy X bucks the trend, by wielding a set of powerful magical dolls in battle. It's possible to create these dolls as items in .

The Final Fantasy series has included some bizarre weapons over the years, including a sword and revolver that have been glued together, as wel💯l as a mop. Lulu's magical dolls might have ranked up there if they didn't work so well with her goth style. Whenever Lulu casts a spell in battle, the doll leaps from her hands and mimics her motions in an adorable way. If the situation calls for Lulu to get physical, then the doll will leap from her hands and charge at the enemy. Lulu's dolls are based on characters from other Final Fantasy games, including Cait Sith from Final Fantasy VII, a Moogle, a Cactuar, and one of the onion knights from Final Fantasy III.

Magical Toys

The ability to animate an object and use it as a companion or quasi-familiar would be appealing to many mages, as it can serve a number of functions. The doll could be used as a scout (when paired with a Divination spell) or could travel through areas that are inhospitable to the party, such as a location filled with poisonous gas. They might not be the most threatening enemies on the battlefield, but they could be used to hel꧃p the resident rogue get their Sneak Attack bonus by putting an ally within melee range. It could also administer a healing potion to a downed ally, or deliver an item to someone on the other side of the battlefield while the caster is occupied.

The most prized aspect of the Mystical Dolls is their ability to boost the powers of the spellcaster, making it easier for them to strike enemies with spells and making it harder for them to pass their saving throws. As such, many casters might be wary about putting their dolls in harm's way, as an enemy could steal it, or it could be incinerated within a b🥃last of dragon fire. It's up to each caster to treat their doll responsibly and only use its animation ability when necessary.
