There is a way to "fix" Joy-Con drift, and it requires players to not use the Joy-Cons at all. The idea was first reported by , and involves players turning their Android cell phones into Joy-Cons. It's not as simple as downloading the app and using it as a Joy-Con. Users will need Bluetooth HID Profile in order to use the app. In order to get that pro𒁃file, Android Pie (9) is required. If it is capable of running the app, the cell phone can be magically transformed into a left Joy-Con, right Joy-Con, or even a pro controller. It's not the perfect solution, of course, and hopefully, that will come in the future one way or another.
