Fornite will be hosting an in-game movie screening tomorrow - June 26th -ജ during which one of three different Christopher Nolan films will be watchable by players.
The movie shown will depend on which region you're playing Fortnite in. The three possible flicks in question are Batman Begins, Inception, and The Prestige, obviously all va🐼riously directed, produced, and/or written by Christopher Nolan.
So of course you'll be wanting to know how to get in on the movie action this Friday. To attend the virtual "Movie Nite," you'll need to hop onto the Party Royale island (Fortnite's virtual nonviolent hangout space), selectable via the screen that lets you choose between different game modes. On the island there'll be a big screen set up on which the films will be played.
Similar to previous Fornite events held in-game, you'll be able to jump in and out of the event at any point while the movie is showing, but that means if you want to catch the beginning you’ll need to make sure you enter the scene at the set starting time. These times differ according to which part of the world you're playing from.
On the you can select your country from the drop-down menu to check which movie will be screened, and when it will begin. US players are getting treated to Inception starting at 2:00 PM GMT+2, while Canadian and UK players will be watching The Prestige, both at 6:00 PM GMT+2.
Fornite has been on a roll with crossing over into other areas of pop culture, especially recently. The game aired 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a movie snippet from The Rise Of Skywalker at the end of last year, has held a number of super successful 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:virtual concerts more recently featuring b🍸ig names like deadmau5, Marshmello, Steve Aoki and others, and last month.
The efforts which Epic Games has put into hosting Fortnite's virtual events during recent months as the COVID-19 pandemic has been shifting into high gear are truly admirable. The fact that literally millions of people are getting the opportunity to gather together and have fun (for free!) in this way is remarkable, and a true testament to gaming's ability to forge connectedness.
