It's time to rejoice because the savior that is Binging with Babish on YouTube has settled upon the ultimate Skyrim sweetroll🗹 recipe, afte🎉r much trialling and error-ing.

The famed sweetroll of Elder Scrolls origin has caused many a mouth to water and has apparently been the target of choice for many sweet-toothed thieves resulting in douchey guards saying things to you like "let me guess, someone stole your sweetroll." They're🐠 the snowy-frosting-topped baked bundles of deliciousness that we've all wanted to sink our teeth into since 2011, and now you can make (actually nice-tasting versions of) them yourself, thanks to this particularly dedicated chef.

Binging with Babish released last week on the subject, during which he experiments with four dif🐎ferent recipes for sweetrolls, starting with the one that the actual cakes in-game are supposedly made with: one salt pile (lol), one jug of milk, a sack of flour, one butter (lol), ꧅and one chicken's egg. Plus some simple frosting poured over the final baked product. But turns out these end up being tough and leathery and simply not up to our imagined sweetrolls standards.

He tries out a further (failed) adjustment and a (semi-successful) bash at the recipe detailed in The Official Elder Scrolls Cookbook. The latter looks fab, but apparently tastes like a "bread-y relatively bland Medieval snack." Not too appetizing.

But thereafter, we finally settle upon The Dream Sweetroll Recipe, but the catch is: it seems like making💃 it is a significant arrow in the knee. A fair amount of patience, willpower, and dough-kneading is required, but the end product looks absolutely irresistible.

"Tender, flaky, buttery, eggy, springy, airy, and lightly-sweet," their chef describes them as. Yes please.

It really is quite an involved process, so we'd recommend𒀰 going and following his instructions as carefully as possible, to avoid failed-sweetroll-related disappointment.

The fun doesn't end there, however. because Bethesda themselves challenged Babish to bake up a "sweetroll fit for a giant," w🌺hich he obviously did. You ꦍshould really . Just a warning though, unless you are literally simultaneously eating the deliciousness that you're seeing on-screen, watching this video is the single most torturous thing you'll ever experience.
