Since the first reveal for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity just a short time ago, one of the biggest questions on fans' minds is who will be the playable characters. The first Hyrule Warriors game had more than 30 playable characters, so it♓'s easy to let speculation run wild about the whole host of characters tha🍎t could become playable in the new game.

So far, Nintendo has only fully revealed seven characters as playable — six in the first trailer, and one additional fighter since. These seven characওters are the most obvious picks, but they still look very exciting in gameplay footage. Here are all of them, and what we know about them so far.

Link uses a spin attack with his sword to clear opponents.

In what comes as a surprise to probably no one, Link is the first playable character in Age of Calamity. Through the trailers and gameplayꦛ footage we've seen so far, it seems he'll once again be able to equip various weapons to take down foes with.

Link can be seen using swords, of course, in footage. It's also 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:been an✤nounced that he can use the Training 🧔Sword if the player has a Breath of the Wild save file on their system. Those who pre-order the game 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:will also receive the Lucky Ladle weaꦺpon, shown alongside Link using the Pot Lid ඣas a shield. Other shots and promotionꦆal material show Link wielding the Master Sword and Hylian Shield, as well.

As for outfits, we can see Link 🍬wearꦰing his Champion tunic as well as the Soldier's Set. He's also briefly seen shooting a bow and shield-surfing.

6 Zelda

Zelda in her royal attire.

Another unsurprising character choice is Princess Zelda, who features prominently in much of the video footage of the game so far. Trailers show Zelda using large remote bombs, throwing several at a time at enemies🦄. These will most likely be us♊ed as an additional item like in the first game, rather than as a main weapon.

Promotional art also shows her holding the Sheikah Slate, which will most likely be her default weapon. In one trailer, she can be seen using Stasis to freeze a Lynel in place. Zelda is seen wearing her own Champion outfit, as well as her dark blue royal dress and her looser white dress that she 𓃲wears to the various springs in BOTW.

5 Mipha

Mipha holding the Lightscale Trident.

The four champions can also be played as fighters in the new game. One of the four that is getting the most attention currently is Mipha, the168澳洲幸运5开奖网: Champion of the Zoras and pilot of Divine Beast Vah Ruta.

Mipha is seen wielding her signature weapon, tꦦhe Lightscale Trident. Mipha is also shown whipping a large column of spinning water toward enemies, similar to one of Sheik's attacks in the original Hꦬyrule Warriors. Another promotional image shows Mipha sending a large wall of water, like a giant tidal wave, toward a group of Bokoblins that are being pushed back by it.

Mipha is also shown in her Champion's ou💛tfit, and will presumably be able to pilot her Divine Beast, though the extent to which it can be used when playing the game is still unknown.

4 Urbosa

Urbosa, Impa, Link, Zelda, and some Gerudo preparing for battle.

The Champion of the Gerudo and the pilot of Divine Beast Vah Naboris is Urbosa, who was once the chief of the Gerudo in BOTW. She'll be a playable character in Age of Calamity as well, brinౠging her lightning-based attacks to the battlefield.

Urbosa is shown in her classic decorated armor and with her blue Champion's skirt. She's seen wielding her traditional weapon, The Scimitar of the Seven, alongside her shield, Daybreak𒁃er.

Urbosa is shown using Link's Flurry Rush attack against an enemy, and can also be seen casting down a wide field of electricity, presumably via her own ability, Urbosa's Fury. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Champion's Unite! trailer also shows her presiding over a large battlefield atop Vah N💜aboris, which points to the Divine Beasts being useable in gameplay, perhaps.

3 Revali

Revali and Link sparring.

Perhaps the Champion shown using the most different moves is Revali, the Ri🌜to Champion and pilot of Divine Beast Vah Medoh. In the initial reveal trailer, he's shown flipping upside down above Link in what looks like a sparring match, wielding a bow and arrows.

In subsequent shots, Revali can be seen using🍌 Bomb Arrows, shot from his signature weapon, the Great Eagle Bow. This takes place right after he whips up a huge gust of wind and flies into the air, presumably by using Revali's Gale.

Like the other Champions, Revali is shown in his Champion's outfit. He als༒o says that it's time to use Vah Medoh's Divine Power, which further points to the Divine Beasts being💯 used in the game.

2 Daruk

Daruk with Zelda and Impa.

The last champion we can see in the trailer is, of course, Daruk, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Champion of the Gorons and Divine Beast Vah Rudania's pi▨lot. As with the other champions, Daruk is seen in his Champion's outfit.

The Boulder Breaker, Daruk's signature weapon, can be seen in his hands while he๊ slams it down on the ground, sending a shockwave to the surrounding area. He can also be seen creating and then blowing up some magma columns to damage foes.

Daruk's Protection will also seemingly be part of his arsenal, as he's seen using it to roll toward Death Mountain, invulnerable. Interestingly, Daruk can be seen using Stasis, which might imply that all of the characters have some access to the Sheikah Slate'💖s powers in some capacity.

1 Impa

Impa Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity Cover

The final playable character that we know about is also the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:most recently announced: Impa. In this game, Impa is much younger than she was in BOTW, since Age of Calamity takes place 100 years💎 earlier. Here, Impa looks a lo🍷t like her granddaughter from BOTW, Paya.

It seems that Impa serves as a royal attendant and advisor for Princess Zelda, and is seen in most of the cutscenes accompa🔴nying Li๊nk and Zelda around.

Her attacks resemble those of the Yiga Clan and Sheikah Warriors, with speed,♕ agility, and ninja techniques seeming to be the focus. She can be seen in gameplay footage creating clones of herself to fight with her and utilizing a paraglider like Link's own.
