Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity had a big showing during today'🐻s Nintendo Tree♈house Live event, giving us a look at a brand new stage and revealing a slew gameplay details.
The clip shown during Nintendo's presentation took place in the Gerudo Camp, where we got a glimpse of a playable Urbosa i💛n action. She can take advantage of Stasis to lock foes into place, charge up lightning as she battles, and many of her attacks can shock foes, causing extra damage. There's a lot of timing and skill required to pull of some of the most poweꦓrful moves, but she looks like a great addition to the action.
Nintendo also showed off what we'll be doing in between battles. We saw the huge world map of Hyrule, how new areas can be un☂locked, and how the weapon upgrade process will function.
The strea🐈m wrapped up by showing⛄ off Young Impa in action – you can check out the full video below:
First announced in September, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is a musuo title that follows in the vein of the original from 2014. It's story, however, will serve as a prequel to Breath of the Wild, giving us a detailed look at Hyrule 100 years before the events of the Great Calamity. You'll have the chance to learn more about the Four Champions, the King of Hyrule, and see the sweeping landscapes of Breath of the Wild before t♎hey were ravaged by battle.
It will almost c🌃ertainly have a depressing final chapter, as we know it ends with Hyrule Castle getting overrun, Zelda struggling against Ganon, and Link falling in🧸to an indefinite slumber.
Despite the Treehouse Live revealing new info for both Hyrule Warriors and Pikmin 3 – two highly anticipated games releasing in the next few months – Nintendo announced the event less than a day before it began. The company has been doing this a lot over the course of 2020, droppin♉g massive announcements with barely any notice given to fans. Still, we're glad to see detailed in༒formation passed along regarding Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, as it's bound to be one of Nintendo's most popul🍌ar titles through the end of this year.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is scheduled to release on November 20 and will be available for $59.99. Anyone who pre-orders a copy will 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:receive the Lucky Ladle bonus weapon.
