So you finally decided to sit down and give Netease's Identity V a whirl. And give it a whirl and lose one and three and nine times you did, and you begin to wonder if you're better off switching to Team Hunter and chasing down Survivors instead.

But while it's certainly a great idea to play as the Hunter and figure out their weak points, don't give up so easily on being a Survivor just yet. 10 Communic♉ate With Your Team 🔯
A silent team is a team that's already lost. Are you in trouble? Is the Hunter nearby? How far in the decoding process are you? Hit the gray button beside your progress bar to send it out. Maintain constant communication via Quick Messages if you aren't on a mic.
Go to Settings, then Game, then Battle. Then click on the button for Quick Message Settings. You'll see 16 different, pre-set messages you can send to fellow Survivors during combat. You can also swap a number of them out for the replaceable messages off to the side if you think they'll better aid you in a match.
9 ꦬ Usඣe The Map
That's right. At first long stare, you'll be wondering what in the world the purpose of this map is when it's a completely gray blob with nothing on it. But this highly questionable 'map' is one of your best assets on the field. While communicating using Quick Messages, you can see on the map the direction their messages are coming from.
Use this to locate teammates pinging to you for help or to stealth the Hunter when you receive warning that they're nearby. Likewise, when a Hunter strikes a Survivor, you'll also be able to see an icon on your map in the direction the combat is taking place. Make the choice to run in and lend a hand or skedaddle and focus on another Cipher elsewhere.
8 Learn Survivor And Hunter Abilities 𒊎
It's beyond critical to know your own character's abilities. Is the character you've chosen clumsy with machines? Are they physically fit and great for holding off the Hunter? Characters have special skills unique to them, and taking the time to read through all the characters and their ski♕ll-sets can benefit you greatly.
Study what the Hunters can do too. The more you know, the better yo𒅌u can figure out how to avoid their attacks when stuck in direct confrontation against them. Their weaknesses are your strengths.
7 𝔉 Use Tide Turner
The last moments and rescue of a match are crucial. Unless you're an outstanding kiter who won't ever get clobbered over the head by the Hunter, put Tide Turner and Borrowed Time into your build. Tide Turner is a selective choice if you know you need more time to get away. Borrowed Time, however, is what most veteran players expect others to have in their build.
Be wary of this. Most players will wait around the last Cipher Machine with a 'Cipher Primed!' until they see that a teammate has been officially downed by the Hunter or rescued before popping it off. Keep an eye on the status of your team before finishing off a Cipher. You could accidentally botch a rescue or get a fellow Survivor killed, and this will one-hundred percent make or break a loss for your team.
6 Bodꦑy Block, Bodyಞ Block, Body Block
Body block your teammate. It could be instinctive self-preservation that has us rescuing teammates from the Rocket Chair and then sprinting off to avoid becoming the Hunter's next target, but it's terrible for everyone when that teammate you've just saved gets struck again seconds later and thrown back in the chair.
If you can take a hit, and if you have Tide Turner activated, run directly behind your fellow Survivor and keep them from getting hit and continue running behind them! This is an awesome way to annoy the Hunter and earn yourself some likes from the one you've protected so resolutely.
5 ♓ Fly High, Just N😼ot In A Rocket Chair
Kite. Even if you think you can't, go for it. You'd be surprised how amazing you become when it's your life on the line. Not only will this buy your teammates time to decode ciphers and move freely, it'll award you some nice Bravery and Persistence Points for the effort.
If y🦩ou find yourself pursued—especially the first pursued in the first ten seconds of the match—go on and head as fast as you can to a bunched area where there are pallets, trees, walls or crates. Stick close to their corne🧸rs, run along their sides; stun the Hunters into them for as long as you can. All earned time is precious.
4 Tie Those Wounds Off 🍸
It's too easy to see a teammate get wounded and think to yourself: 'Well, as long as it's not me!' and carry on with decoding a Cipher. But that's oftentimes why players still lose despite their best efforts. Heal, heal, triple heal your teammates in need.
It doesn't matter how drawn-out the match becomes or how long the Ciphers take to pop. Your defeat will be made more certain if there's no one on your team able to take more than two hits against the Hunter. Repetitive healing can demoralize the Hunter greatly, and at times, drive them to surrender in frustration when they see how unwilling you are to die.
3 💝 Panic Rescue
You'll find two sorts of Hunters at the Rocket Chair. The one who immediately attacks you for getting near- or the one who will patiently stand there, at the ready, to Terror Shock you the moment you lay hands on the bar to set your teammate free.
If a Hunter does seek to hit you right away, take the hit, and use the speed boost while the Hunter's attack is on cooldown to quickly free your teammate and get away. If a Hunter is standing there, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:play a game of cat-and-mouse, pretending to free your teammate without freeing them until the Hunter believes you're going for it and they waste their strike. Just be cautious. Run around for too long, and you'll miss your chance to successfully pull off the rescue.
2 Leave🌱 Almoಞst As Soon As You Are Able
In the spirit of camaraderie, you might want to stick around by the open Exit Gate for your teammates to show so you can all escape together. That's great. But it's also not. Especially if there's only one other Survivor left. Get out. That one Survivor might be desperately waiting for you to leave so they can escape through the Dungeon which will only open if you're gone.
Another good general rule of thumb is to not run for the same Exit Gate as your teammates once they've been activated. Splitting up will force the Hunter to choose one Gate to go towards first. Even with Teleport, Hunters have to wait 70 seconds on a cooldown, and are often forced to walk all the way across the map to the other gate if they want to try and stop you last minute.
1 Duck On Down ෴
You honestly never know where you'll spawn on the map. Sometimes that's in a desolate corner, nice and tucked away. Other times it's directly by the Hunter- in which your time to make a break for it and not get clocked in the first five seconds of the match is incredibly limited.
Tempting as it is to run to the first cipher you see, it's better sometimes to take a step back, huddle down behind obstacles or stand behind a wall and get a glimpse of your surroundings first. If the Hunter is in your area, but not close enough to trigger your heartbeart in warning, you can see them walking around in the distance.
