Formerly known as Gods & Monsters, Immortals Fenyx Rising is an upcoming action adventur🅰e game from Ubisoft. Not much is known about the new IP, but we learned a lot more about the title during the latest Ubisoft Forward event, including a release date of December 3.
Players will jump into the shoes of Fenyx to "wield the powers of the gods" and batt♊le mythological beasts. The trailer showed off enemies such as harpies, minotaurs, and even a glimpse at medusa. We also saw a robust character creation system, giving you the ability to craft your own personalized hero.
When you're not waging war against gods and monsters, you'll be roaming a vast world and solving puzzles. The whole thing has a bit of a Breath of the Wild feelꦰ to it, all wrapped up with a layer of ancient-Greek-mythology paint.

From the brief glimpses we've seen, those lofty goals appear to be coming together nicely.
Built by the same people that created Ass✅assin's Creed Odyssey, hopes are high that this new IP will be another excellent title in the Ubisoft lineup. Jonathan Dumont, Creative Director on the project, says the team consulted with an historian that specializes in mythology in order to accurately portray these locations, enemies, and ideas. The game is also shooting for a "lighthearted tone," and we should expect to see plenty of humor woven throughout the narrative.
Immortals Fenyx Rising's presentation during Ubisoft Forward was impressive, and we're excited to get our hands on the upcoming title. There's still much more we need to learn about the new IP and, ꧒with a release date of December 3 we expect to see a lot more gameplay in the coming weeks.
