Ubisoft announced a detailed pos๊t-launch stꦇrategy for Immortals Fenyx Rising, including a Season Pass that introduces a new hero and setting inspired by Chinese mythology.
The season pass "features new environments, heroe♋s, and fresh gameplay," and even comes with a bonus quest available at launch – When Roads Get Rocky. The main draw, however, is the three narrative-based content expansions. Here's what you can expect to see in the first season pass for Immortals Fenyx Rღising:
- A New God: Set in Olympus Palace, you'll need to overcome the Trial of the Olympians, which consists of "beautifully crafted and challenging vaults built by the gods." Successfully find your way through the trial, and you'll join the Inner Circle of the Pantheon.
- Myths of the Eastern Realm: No doubt one of the most unique additions coming to Immortals, this DLC is based on Chinese Mythology. This episode will bring a new playable hero, Ku, who is trying to save mortals in a "new mystical land." Along the way you'll master Ku's new fighting style, one that is heavily influenced by Chinese martial arts, to defeat new enemies and monsters.
- The Lost Gods: The last expansion changes the Immortals formula completely. You'll have top-down gameplay, brawler combat, and a new hero (Ash) to master. The Lost Gods takes place on a mysterious island, and it's up to Ash to restore order to Earth.
If you pick up Immortals Fenyx Rising Gold Edition, the season pass is included in your purchase. You can always buy it separately if you're not ready to drop the extra cash riℱght now. However, from the above list, the amount of new content – and the variety of it – makes this seem like a pretty solid deal.
Immortals Fenyx Rising will release on December 3 for – deep breath – Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Switch, PC, Luna, and Stadia. You can also find it on Ubisoft+, ♔th💟e publishers monthly subscription service.
