Right after the gameplay trailer for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle debuted during the ဣpresentation, Entertainment Weekly revealed that Troy Baker, best known for playing Joel Miller in The Last of Us and Booker DeWitt in BioShock Infinite, will be taking up the mantle from Harrison Ford.
Beyond revealing that Baker is going to be playing Indy, the Entertainment Weekly article also gives us a few more details about the game's plot and development. The idea for The Great Circle originated from executive producer Todd Howard, and takes place one year after the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark.

It also reveals that the story begins after Indiana Jones falls asleep at his desk and is awoken by a "coloꦅssal man" named Locus, who is played by Tony Todd, the voice of Venom in Spider-Man 2. From there, Indy heads to the Vatican, which is where the globetrotting adventure really begins.
