Fans of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Smash Bros. Ultimate have been celeꦕbrating (or bemoaning) the controversial-addition of Byleth since the character's release just a couple weeks ago. Regardless of what popular opinion says about the character, now fans are awaiting the next round of additional fighters.
Nintendo has announced that six more characters will be coming to Ultimate through this pass. As a result, speculation has abounded, with everyone wanting their favorite charact𒈔er to be added. The developers showed that they are willing to add some curveballs and that the additional fighters don't even need to be from Nintendo games. As a result, here is some indie game representation that could be added, and maybe should.
Updated March 8th, 2021 by Michael Christopher: Pyra and Mythra were just added to Smash, preceded by Sephiroth, Steve & Alex, Min Min, and more. Since none of the characters from this list were added, let's add a few more and increase the chances of being right, shall we?
15 Zagreus
Zagreus, from critically-acclaimed dungeon crawler, Hades, is such a good candidate for the Smash roster that the explanation as to why could take an entire post all its ow💛n. This Prince of the Underworld is a widely-beloved character from a truly incredible game, and his combat abilities, weapons arsenal, and abilities could offer endless ideas for a Smashꦺ moveset.
In Hades, Zagreus equips himself with boons from the Olympian gods (and some of the Cthonic gods a🦩s well), has access to a small armory's worth of weapons, and fights through hordes of infernal demons to break out of 💟the Underworld. He'd be one of the most fitting additions to Smash in recent years, and it's a shame we probably won't see him, since the Fighter's Pass was allegedly decided before Hades released.
14 Ori
Another game widely acc💫laimed by fans 🔴and critics alike is Ori and the Will of the Wisps, a sequel to the original Ori and the Blind Forest. Ori is a small white Spirit Guardian with a few different moves that help them navigate the world and engage in combat.
Special attacks could include Kuro's feather, the Light Burst, ✃and the flame abilities Ori has access to for combat. Moon Studios, the makers behind the Ori games, have expressed that they would love to see Ori make it to Smash. We hope so, too!
13 🌳 Cr🦄ewmate/Imposter
They've kind of become a meme at this point, but the small little astronauts that serve as the player characters of smash hit Among Us would make for a comical 🍸yet fun addition to the Smash roster.
Many of the tasks that you have to do around each ꧒level could serve as attacks, like connecting wires to zap someone or "depositing" t🅺rash onto them. This is a very unlikely addition, but it would be fun. A Final Smash involving an emergency meeting being called and preventing the other players from moving would be hilarious.
12 Raji
Many indie games released in recent years find some of their success by captivating audien♌ces with stunning visuals and fantastic scenery. Raji: An Ancient Epic is one of these games, offering breathtaking vistas and beautiful scenes from start to finish, all themed around Indian mythology, drawn in the Pahari style.
The protagonist takes the same name as the game: Raji. She's a tenacious young woman who sports a beautiful red choli and a set of divine weapons. Her acrobatic abilities paired with her small arsenal help her fight in the꧂ war against demons, and would translate perfectly into Smash.
11 Zero
Zero is a deadly assassin in a game that is challengingly difficult,ꦍ Katana Zero. His abilities with a katana are almost unmatched, and he is 🏅able to slow time and see the future somewhat.
Zero is equipped with Molotov cocktails, throwing knives, smoke bombs, and more, all🎉 of which could be incorporated into his moveset. Who doesn't want to see that iconic ponytail and gold-trimmed robe whipping through a Smash stage?
10 Gris
Considered one of the most visually-stunning games of recent years, Gris follows a young woman by the same name as she explores imagination, fear, and finding her voice. It's a gorgeous game with tons to✤ ex𓄧plore and take in as you progress.
This young woman could make for a great addition to Smash, giving some representation to an underrated indie game. Gris' moveset could include her ability to morph into stone, her powerful singing, and other elements of her beautiful game. A Final Smash attack could be focused around her star collection, perhaps building the constellation road in 🐼some 🐲way.
9 🦹 The Prisoner
It doesn't matter whether you refer to this thing as the Beheaded, The Prisoner, or The Fallen One. It's the protagonist of another underrated game,168澳洲幸运5开奖网: Dead Cells, and could be fantastic in Smash. The Prisoner is a large🎀 mysterious shadow-humanoid made of some type of gas and possesses a large crystal in the p♒lace where its face should be.
Being an action game, The Prisoner obviously has a ton of moves that could 🍃translate into Smash. It's able to launch its head as an attack and use a large hammer, plus more. The only downside is that it's a playable character in Brawlout, another fight༒ing game like Smash.
8 Cadence
Here's something a little different. Anyone who hasn't played Crypt of the Necrodancer, or its Zelda-themed spinoff, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Cadence of Hyrule, is serioওusly missing out. These rhythm games require you to move, attack, and use items to the beat of a song💦 with increasing tempo. They're addicting and super-fun, giving gamers a different way to play.
Cadence, the main character of Necrodancer, is a tough fighter with grit and determination. She'd be an amazing addition to Smash, especially since 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Nintendo seems to like the series. Using her 🌳shovel, dagger, and arsenal of items, she'd dance🍸 her way to the top.
7 Meat Boy
Nintendo loves to add characters that are comical or seem likes jokes. Just look at Duck Hunt, Wii Fit🅰 Trainer, and more. Because of this, isn't it easy to see Super Meat Boy's titular character on the roster? This hunk of raw meat is the star of the very popular🐠 game, whose developers have actually said they would like to see the addition.
It would be hard to see a moveset for Meat Boy, considering he mostly just runs and jumps. But, they made the Duck Hunt d♈og work.
6 ꦛ The Knight
In recent years, this might be one of the most requested characters by fans. The Knight is the silent protagonist of168澳洲幸运5开奖网: Hollow Knight, w༒hich is actuall🗹y receiving a sequel starring its antagonist, Hornet, soon. The Knight (or Hornet, even) would be a great addition to the Smash roster for several reasons.
Being a 2D platformer with a ton of combat options, The Knight's translation to a Smash fighter would be seamless. Utilizing his Nail weapon, he could bring spells, charms, and items with him, like his Monarch Wings, Vengeful Spirit spell, and Howling Wraiths ability. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Silksong's release will show what Hornet could look like i𓆏f she were added instead.
