is billed as the "first programme dedicated to tabletop gaming", and will focus on "improvised comedy, entertainment, and accessible gameplay". The series of four campaigns will be hosted by B. Dave Walters, who is well-known for 🐈his work in the tabletop RPG community, particularly as lead designer of the RPG series and writer for the D&D: A Darkened Wish IDW Comics.
Walters will be joined in the show's custom-made tavern, "The Rotted Gut", by the campaign's party, comprising Kassem Gharaibeh, better-known as Youtube content creator Kassem G, content creator and on-camera personality Fiona Nova, esports commentator and G4 host Indiana "Froskurinn" Black, and actor and comedian Ify Nwadiwe.
Invitation to Party will be airing in a slightly odd way. On November 19, at 3 PM PT, the first session of the campaign will be streamed live on and , before it is aired as a pre-recorded episode on G4 TV on November 22 at 6:30 PM PT. While those watching on TV can sit and watch, those who tune 🍸in on Twitch or Youtube will be able to shape the campaign as it happens, through "real-time voting" on things like⛄ story beats, improv prompts, and even full NPCs that will appear in the show.
Invitation to Party is noteworthy as it shows just how far the 'liveplay' genre, where people play sessions of tabletop RPGs and present it as an ongoing show, has come. Just last month it was announced that one of the most popular names in the genre, Critical Role, would be collaborating with Wizards of the Coast to make a full adventure book based on the third series of its hit show, called 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Critical Role: Call of the Netherdeep.
