3D Realm's Ion Fury, a boomer shooter revival released on PC last year, is heading to consoles soon. Teased on the official Twitter account for the game, the team over at Voidpoint LLC has confirmed that work on the console iteration has gone gold today. We don't technically have a release d꧑ate, but that's a very good sign of an imminent release.
The teaser features an image of a Switch, but Ion Fury will also be heading to PS4 and Xbox One when it does release. If you have any love for shooters from the 90s, you owe it to yourself to check out this game. It not only improves upon a good number of problems present in classic games, but also utilizes the same technology that powered Duke Nukem 3D, Shadow Warrior, and Blood.
