The parent company AT&T is currently looking into selling the Mortal Kombat and Batman: Arkham Knight publisher, WB Games, since last month, and this would be a huge merger for Microsof🍬t if it decides to buy their studios and library.
Sources told that the🀅 telecommunications company would sell its games division for $4 billion in an effort to help offset its $200 billion in debt. The purchase of Warner Media was at a massive $109 billion back in 2018. Perhaps, WB Games was an afterthought.
Microsoft has recently been expanding its first-party line-up with the purchase of Double Fine Productions, Ninja Theory, inXile Entertainment, and Obsidian.
