Not only does it sport the complete library of television series, s༒ans the odd streaming rights situation with Star Trek: Prodigy, but it usually has every feature film as well. Crucially, this includes not only the vast amount of legacy content, but every new season of current and upcoming projects.

Star Trek may not be your jam. If so, then perhaps you're into the ever-expanding Yellowstone universe, which by all commercial accounts is a far bigger ratings grab than the still-solid perfor♏mance from the Trek side of the equation. Or maybe you're big on live sports; if you're in the US, Paramount Plus is a great grab.

Here's the thing. If none of the above applies to you, it's a far harder sell. Frankly, Paramount Plus remains quite possibly the mos🎀t irritating app among major streamers. It runs poorly on many devices, and it has some of the oddest issues - why the heck is there a brief stutter at the beginning of each individual act within Star 𒉰Trek episodes?

I'm not sure how it compares with streaming services in other countries, but in Argentina, Paramount Plus is one of the cheapest subscriptions you can have (it costs less than half of a regular Netflix plan). Sure, the catalog i🎃sn't amazing, but you get some interesting original productions from time to time (Tulsa King) and a nice collection of classics (you can do your re-watch of every Mission: Impossible right now, for example). I pay the annual subscription, which has a nice discount, and I have a place to watch South Park or explore something new whenever I need it.

Yellowjackets, Dexter, MobLand, And School Spirits For The Win - Dennis Moiseyev

Paramount+ with Showtime is the best option, so you can get exclusive Showtime movies and shows in addition to the standard content from Paramount+. It's more costly, but absolutely worth it if you love Yellowjackets, Dexter, The Chi, or Billions, especially since Dexter: Resurrection also releases꧃ this summer. Plus, there's also a small library of A24 films available with that t🍃ier.

I typically stream on my television from the PS5, and the user interface for Paramount+ is surprisingly awful. Though I made my way through the entire original Star Trek seasons, episodes were never marked as watched, so I had to scroll through each time. This itself was a long process, as everything just moved so slowly. Don't even bother pausing mid-episode and leaving; yo🦄u'll need to manually find your place again. I'm unsure if this is a widespread problem, but the subtitles almost always never lined up either.

That said, Paramount+ can be worth it if you know exactly what you want to watch on it (like Star Trek). If you can find what you want to watch elsewhere, then I recommend doing so. If your show of choice is only on Paramount+ through the TV app, 𝄹then prepare for very bad UI.
