Since 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Naughty Dog has yet to give us another installment in the Jak and Daxter series, the best we can do at this point is look back and reminisce about🌞 the good times we 🌳had with the franchise. From the moments of rage that came from repeatedly failing a mission to the moments of unadulterated joy that came from the witty dialogue, these games were brilliant.
Sadness comes from the fact that there hasn't beꦦen a yet, and it's still unclear if there ever will be. H𒈔owever, these hilarious memes can perhaps make us remember the great times we did have with the series, as it continues to live on with its legacy.
10 𝔍 A Moment Of Silence
Let's have a moment of silence for what once was, but sadly is no more. After various rumors and speculations of there being a Jak 4 in the works, fans of the series were devastated to find out that it was canceled. Concept art emerged as fans got a chance to look at what could have been. Our only hope now is that Naughty Dog decides to revive the franchise after the release of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Last of Us Part 2. Maybe 🔴there's a l♒ight at the end of this long, dark tunnel.
9 You Can'ꦯt Change My Mind
Jak and Daxter have been around since the early 2000s. Not all of them have been a hit (more on that later), but the original three games continue to be a pivotal point in platforming games. Many have tried to replicate the success of the original trilogy with their own spin on the genre, but none can stand toe to toe with🥀 this series.
Many fans to this day continue to support this beloved franchise after💫 it re-releases on every console generation. Now that's brand loyalty.
8 ಌ War Of Tꦍhe Platformers
Releasing in 2001, Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy had little to no competition at the time. That was until 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Ratchet & Clank came out in 2002 and rivaled the Jak and Daxter series. This feud continued for several years and spanned multiple releases across the Playstation 2 and continued over to the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Playstation 3. Everyone has their preferences based on which characters they resonate with the most, but fans of Jak and Daxter know which platformer will always reign supreme.
7 Stay Clear Of 🐻Misty Island
Ah, the lurker shark. One of the earliest memories I have of being terrified of what lives in the water. Unsuspecting new comers to the Jak and Daxter♓ franchise may deem it possible to swim from the beach to Misty Island; this would be their first and last attempt▨ at this false rumor. The lurker shark is an unstoppable force and will stop at nothing to swallow you whole for even coming anywhere near his water. The sound effects that play while he's swimming toward you are sure to make you regret ever deciding to swim in the first place.
6 Power Cell C🌟ollector 🦂
The whole premise of Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy is to collect power cells to inevitably continue onto the next section of the🐻 game where the goal is to, guess what, collect more power cells to continue to the next section as the cycle continues. Collect enough precursor orbs to trade them in for power cells, complete missions to earn power cells, sell your soul for more🌊 power cells, whatever it takes to get the job done and beat the game. All jokes aside, we loved every minute of it.
5 Metal Heads Take Over 🌌 ✱
Metal Heads, as we see it, are an alien race identified by a metallic exoskeleton and carrying a𓂃 gem which is embedded their head, chest, or back. While they don't particularly get down with the heavy metal type music, they get down and dirty by invading Haven City which didn't bode well for the team of Jak and Daxter. While they were a formidable foe, they were no match for our team of witty and charismatic heroes, even if it did take several attempts to beat the missions.
4 Say Something Jak, Just This Oꦑnce!
After spending an entire game with a silent protagonist and a witty sidekick (even if he doesn't consider himself a sidekick), it was certainly a change of pace to have Jak II feature a voice acted protagonist.
The first time we hear Jak speak, he not only comes off as imprudent, but determined. He finally had a sense of purpose, even if it was to kill the ruler of Haven City, 🍌which was no easy task.
3 Dark Souls? Psh, H♊ave You Played Jak II? ✅
While it may present itself with a rather cartoony or childish art style, completing Jak II was no easy feat. To this day it remai꧒ns a rage inducing, heart pounding, controller breaking game, even for the most skilled of players. The countless times you have to restart a mission from the very beginning, after a simple mistake you should have seen coming, is enough to make anyone rage quit and come back to this aggravating yet amazin🐓g game the next day. We wouldn't have it any other way.
2 A Snazzy Pair Of Pant✤s
From pants, to no pants, to pants again? Of course, why would Daxter want to be changed back into a regular sized person (even i𒀰f he was a little odd looking), when he could have a new pair of pants to show off? The Precursors could have granted him any wish, any w💙ish beyond his wildest dreams, yet he asked for a fresh pair of pants and his girlfriend to become an Ottsel so they could be together. Makes sense, right? Of course I'm kidding; Daxter is perfect the way he is.
1 Oops
The only word to describe Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier is oops. What a mistake that was. Regarded by many to be the worst in the series, nay, not even part of the series, The Lost Frontier is a prime example of if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. Developed by High Impact Games as opposed to Naughty Dog, it continues to be remembered as the game that hammered the final nail in the coffin for the Jak and Daxter series. Again, still holding out hope for Jak 4, but time will tell.
