While a disdain of Tom Nook has unified Animal Crossing players for years, it appears that there might be a new least favorite character emerging—at lea𝔍st in Japan.
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Isabelle, th🐠e adorable dog of 🌟ambiguous pedigree, has been a cheerleader for players since her debut in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. She is the city hall secretary who assists players in all sorts of task, even taking it upon herself to be moderator to any squabble🦋s brought to her attention between islanders. In New Horizons, each day is kicked off by an announcement from Isabelle and her perky ponytail, and if she doesn’t have anything to report—i.e🔯. an upcomin✃g event, a birthday, or a special visitor—she’ll go off on a little bit of a tangent. And more often than not, that tangent is about herself.
According to Japanese Twitter, New Horizons players are finding these little rants to be incredibly annoyi🦋ng and hope to see an end to it. When typing Isabelle’s name into Twitter, or more accurately her Japanese name, Shizue, some of the top search results are “I hate Isabel𝔍le,” “Isabelle incompetent,” and “Don’t need Isabelle.” Some strong words for such a little pup. Her morning announcements seem to have left her with a bad first impression with new comers and are starting to irritate a few old school fans who could do with a bit less chatter.
To be fair, it’s hard to imagine that conversation in that office could be particularly stimulating. She sits in that office literally 24/7 sharing a cubicle with famous capitalist and narcissist, Tom Nook, just waiting to be of service. She deserves a captive audience for her few seconds of airtime. Animal Crossing is basically a game built arou⛄nd polite chitchat, consumerism, and some light interior design work, Isabelle’s status reports are a truly small part of all that fun. Granted, they’re rarely particularly helpful and would come in handy more if she announced the arrival of merchants like Lief, Redd, and Sahara; but would anyone rather have Tom Nook or ꦺTimmy or Tommy take over for the island morning greetings?
