Ghost of Tsushima lead actor Daisuke Tsuji has appeared in the new video, where h꧙e took the sword and replicates the moves of the game’s protagonist Jin Sakai, facing his new master in the real-life samurai duel.
Daisuke Tsuji has not only voiced Jin Sakai in 168澳洲🅷幸运5开奖网:Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut but also gave the character his in-game appearance. The actor recently took part in a new YouTube video from Toru Uchikado, a Japanese actor who knows how to handle a katana. Uchikado asked his colleague to recreate the combat moves of his character from the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Sucker Punch action game.
It is worth noting that Daisuke Tsuji was not involved in ꦦmotion capture stunts sessions during the deveꦺlopment, as he only did the facial mo-cap for Jin Sakai. And as you may expect, the actor wasn’t as elegant with the sword as his Ghost of Tsushima character.
However, after a few attempts, Tsuji has successfully replicated some of the iconic battle moves of young Lord Sakai, including parrying, Swordbreaker of St🥃one Stance, and Flurry Strike of Water Stance. It took more time for the actor to repeat more complex moves from the game.
At the end of the video, Tsuji and Toru Uchikado come together in a mock fight with the blades, recreating the duel of Jin Sakai and his uncle Lord Shimura. The artists used exactly the same camera angles for the duel, closely familiar to everyone who played the game. And you probably may guess who’s the winner𒆙 there.
Interestingly enough, both Tsuji and Uchikado agreed that Ghost of Tsushima was “definitely one of the most popular games f🙈rom 2020.” Following the initial success, Sony has launched Director’s Cut with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Iki Island expansion on both PS4 🐭and PS5, taking J𒊎in Sakai to a brand new adventure.
The Ghost of Tsushima franchise is already going beyond the video games, as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Sony announced a film adaptation with John Wick’s director Chad Stahelski taking the helm. We don’t know who will play Jin Sakai in the movie yet, however, Dai🦹suke Tsuji has immediately thrown his name in the ring to reprise 🐲the role. With his recent samurai training, Tsuji may even earn some points in front of former🔯 stuntman Stahelski.
