With former UFC cham👍pion and current WWE superstar Ronda Rousey set for a role in , there are suggestions that John Cena could play a part as well.
The popular wrestler, who has since become a Hollywood personalityꦉ, has been undertaking various ventures outside the ring in recent years and there are hopes he could land the role as Stryker in the upcoming game.
For now, the po𝕴ssibility seems vague, but hey, Ronda's here, why can't Cena be?
Artist has reimagined the 16-time World Champion as the aforementioned character from the game's seri☂es and he does look the part. He would probably make a great fit for the role if there's ever a 🎉new movie based on the game.
Cena has also posted the image on his Instagram page and, if he were anyone else, 🐼that could have been considered credence. Those who follow t𒁏he WWE star would know that he often posts random images without reason or explanation, so this could bear very little weight.

The 41-year-ol✱d probably wouldn't be on Instagram if it w🍃asn't mandatory and many thought that his account had been hacked after his first set of posts hit the web.
"I was told by WW🌌E that I had to get an Instagram account," he explained to last year. "I said, 'Man, I don't know if I ca꧙n do all of this. I don't have [someone] to follow me around and shoot stuff…. So I took a picture of my close friend's mustache. I gave away the first picture and just posted it with no tags, no meaning."
Last month, thou⛎gh, Ed Boon, the series' creative director teased a "huge, huge surprise" as it relates to one of the characters.
"Our faces, our actors - we find, you know, real people to scan their entire face," he said. "It's not a 3D model, you know sculpting a nose, sculpting a face, stuff like that, it's actually real people. And we have - I'll tell you this - we have a huge, huge surprise coming up for a face you're going to see in Mortal Kombat."
That may very well mean Cena, but we'll just have to wait and see. Plus who's to sౠay he isn't in the game if we "can't see" him anyway?
The tit☂le, meanwhile, is set for release on April 23 this year and will be available for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
