JRPGs are as classic as gaming itself, and if you've played any one of them, you know that there are huge, powerful moves that simply don't exist in our simple human world. Reality-bending, earth-shattering attacks that somehow only take off a few hundred points in damage.
But we aren't talking about realism here. Instead, we are focusing on the sheer impressive visuals that these mind-bending attacks give us. Hero or villain, it doesn't matter; all that matter here is the spectacle, and how many particle effects we can see with the human eye.
8 Ethereal Blast - Star Oc𒁏ean Till The End Of Time

Dolce Vida is a move where the character Uni impales her opponent with dozens of bullets before encasing them in a sphere of energy, then blowing it up sky-high for a 27-hit combo. Uni is here to let you know not to mess with PlayStation handhelds. It's fast and hard-hitting, with the flashy style that the Neptunia franchise is known for.
6 Ruin🅠ing Bond - Arc Rise Fantasia
Dealing a lot of damage with a physical attack is one thing. Wꦚhen you combine a hard-hitting physical attack with the all-dreaded status effects, things can go sideways quickly.
The final boss of Arc Rise Fantasia, Eesa, has an attack that attempts to infect you with Silenced, Confusion, Sickness, and Dispel magic. The battle can be hard, and almost impossible if you don't have the right gear and items to counter the different effects. Simply seeing the name anywhere online strikes fear into those who have played the game, stating it's the hardest move to counter. In a game known for its high difficulty, that's saying something.
5 Akashic Star- Trails Of Cold Steel 3 🌊

The Tales series has always been known for engaging in combat with attacks that felt rewarding to pull off, and Arise is no different. For many fans of the g💛ame, it was c꧒emented into their memory with deserved admiration, while for others it was a painful memory of a difficult fight. Either way, Supernova has more than earned its fame.
