A new trailer for Jump Force was revealed during the Paris Games Week unveiling the release date for the game and two new additions to the roster from Weekly Shonen Jump.
Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star is now part of Jump Force. His addition has been anticipated since the beginning, as Fist of the North Star was one of Weekly Shonen Jump’s early success stories and was likely the most popular series in the magazine before the arrival of Dragon Ball.
Kenshiro uses the Hokuto Shinken fighting style, which allows him to strike pressure points on his opponent’s body which can affect their internal organs, r꧟esulting in them being paralyzed or exploding from the inside out.
The fact that many of the series represented in Jump Force have both hero and villain characters means that there is a good chance that either Raoh or Shin will also appear in the game, as they are two of Kenshiro’s most iconic rivals.

The other new character who has been added to Jump Force is Ryo Saeba from City Hunter, which💖 is a series that was popular in the late 💖‘80s.
City Hunter was a crime drama starring Ryo Saeba, who was a ꩵprivate detective with incredible marksm🔴anship skills, as well as a habit of chasing anything in a skirt.
It’s possible that the reason why Ryo is appearing in Jump Force (despite being hopelessly outmatched by pretty much every other character in the game) is that a new City Hunter animated movie is hitting cinemas shortly before Jump Force is released.
The Paris Games Week trailer also revealed that Jump Force will be released on February 15th, which means that fans won’t have to wait long for the latest Weekly Shonen Jump brawler.
There have been several crossover fighting games based on Weekly Shonen Jump franchises, such as Jump Ultimate Stars on the Nintendo DS (which was sadly never localized), while others were pretty bad, such as Battle Stadium D. O. N. Jump Force has looked really impressi🍒ve so far, which gives us hope that it isn’t just a shallow fighting game 🐼with a few big names attached.
Jump Force will be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on February 15th, 2019.
