You'll be tasked with relocating, breeding, and caring for a range of dinosaurs, supported by some 🔜familiar faces from the movies.
The first mission takes place in Arizona and is pretty simple to complete. However, at the time of writing the second mission, Washington, has been causing some issues, especially when it comes to safely enclosing the Allosaurus. In this guide, we offer a quick walkthrough of the mission, including steps you can take that appear to stop the Allosaurus from deciding it isn't secure.
How To Tranquilize The Carnotaurus
The first thing you'll need to do is tranquilize the Carnotaurus roaming around in half complete fences. There are two of them and you'll be put straight into a helicopter to do this manually. The helicopter controls are displayed on the bottom left of the screen and what you'll need to do is slowly approach the dinosaurs and then gently go down towards the ground s﷽o y🐻ou are close to them.
The Carnotaurus' are agitated but the fences hold them in so you can get a good shot. You'll need to hit them twice, so wait until they are calm and fairly enclosed before you aim. Once you have your sights up you can still move the helicopter but your vision is limited so you need to know where the dinosaur is.
Fire off two shots in quick succession into both dinos to subdue them and then you are ready to set up the facility. If you miss don't worry. You can keep firing, so just try and focus on one dinosaur at once. This is because the tranquilizing effect does wear off after a few minutes, so if ꧂you take too long you may need to do two shots again.
How To Set Up Your Base In Washington
The first thing you need to do is set up your base. This mission is short and money is plentiful so the easiest way to complete it is to set up what you need early on. You'll be prompted as you go along but you can just place everything you need in advance. This will also help you avoid Allosaurus issues.
During this mission you will need:
- Arrival Point
- Control Centre
- Response Facility
- Palaeo-Medical Facility
- Backup Generators
- Two Secure Enclosures
- Optional: Emergency Bunker
How To Create A Secure Enclosure For The Carnosaurus and Allosaurus
A secure enclosure comprises a fenced off area with no gaps. You'll need to power the fences by having a backup generator close by. Rangers will also need to access the enclosures and status check the dinosaurs so add a gate and ranger post to each one.
Both enclosures will also need:
- Live Prey Feeder
- Water
- Research Viewing Gallery
The Carnotaurus will require sand in their enclosure, while the Allosaurus wants forest. These can be added as soo🔜n as you are able to do so and adjusted later if required.
How To Find And Secure The Allosaurus
This part of the mission can be buggy, leaving you stuck and unable to secure the Allosaurus, as pictured above. After testing the mission in our game several times this error appears to be triggered by:
- Transfering the Allosaurus then building an enclosure around it.
- Having wild dinosaurs in the enclosure.
- Removing fences in the enclosure while the Allosaurus is in transit or in the enclosure itself.

Trying to move the Allosaurus to another enclosure, and similar workarounds didn't appear to work for us. We had to ensure the secure enclosure was ready before beginning to transport the Allosaurus, and that the fence was not touched after this point. |
We've successfully completed the mission more than once using this method so if you encounter issues you may need to restart. We recommend getting the enclosure ready when you build the Carnosaurus one. This is because once the Carnosaurus are happy you'll be put into the ranger car and tasked with finding the Allosaurus. Once you get to this point the mission is fast paced and has several cut scenes so it's easy to make a mistake.
How To Locate The Allosaurus Using The Clues
You'll need to drive the Ranger Team car and locate the Allosaurus. You do this by finding the clues nearby. There are six clues in total, with the final one sparking the arrival of the Allosauru♍s.
Clue One - Fallen Tree Trunk
The first clue is very close to where you built your base, on a fallen tree trunk. Use the compass at the top of the screen to check your direction and the option to analyse the fallen branch will show up almost as soon as you leave the base. This is the process you will repeat as you head down the hill.
Clue Two - Deer By The Trees
Head down the slope and the path will curve slightly to the right. Stay in the middle of the clearing and you should see a deer by the treeline on the left, just after the road bends.
Clue Three - Tree In The Road
The trail is rougher here and there are rocks on the ground. You'll be driving at an angle before you reach a rocky slope. At the bottom of the slope the main path heads right and in the middle of it is another fallen tree trunk. This is your third clue.
Clue Four - Another Fallen Tree
Just ahead the clearing will widen before narrowing again. Keep going straight ahead, following the path as straight as you can. You'll soon hit a point where there are trees in front of you and the path goes around them. Head to the left here to find another tree trunk in the road.
Clue Five - A Tree Near A Large Rock
The path joins back up and you can continue to follow down the hill. Soon you'll come to another area where you need to make a choice. This time your clue is the fallen branch just to the right of the large rock where the road splits.
Clue Six - A Second Deer
Stay towards the right hand side of the path and you'll soon see a clearing. If you get to the water you've gone too far. In this clearing is another deer carcass.
Clicking this final clue will lead to a cut scene where the Allosaurus begins to chase you.
How To Get The Allosaurus Into A Secure Enclosure
You will now see the ranger team speed off and you'll be in control of the helicopter again. You'll need to tranquilize the Allosaurus before it reaches your base.
As with the other dinosaurs, the Allosaurus will require two shots to subdue. There are parts of the chase where it goes through trees but it will stop as the car speeds ahead, and will also move onto the path. There is plenty of time for you to tranquilize it and the shots have quite a long timer.

The Allosaurus should now be able to be transported into the enclosure and the task should complete. This leads on to the final part of the mission.
How To Treat The Allosaurus
For the final part of the mission you'll need the palaeo-medical facility and one to two scientists with a combined welfare score of three. First send the Mobile Vet Unit to assess the Allosaurus. Once this is done you'll need to use the chopper to tranquilize it. You can do this yourself or just assign it as a task.
The Allosaurus can then be transfered to the medical facility. You can assign staff at the point of transfer if you have them available. Alternatively, once the dinosaur is there select the building and choose assign scientists. The Allosaurus will then be treated.
Once healed, select the building again and use the transfer button to place the dinosaur back in the enclosure. Once the environment is suitable the timer will run down and the mission is complete.
