For players wh꧅o find themselves exhausting everything the💧 vanilla experience can offer or who simply want some additional flavor, mods are a great way to enhance the experience. There are a wealth of mods for this game, and here are some really interesting ones players should consider.
Updated On August 20, 2021 by Ben Baker: It has been some time since this article was originally released and a number of new mods have been released to further enhance the game. Players are continually finding ways to tweak, modify, and improve the game with better mechanics and dinosaurs. While a comprehensive list of these would be impossible it did seem appropriate to showcase a few more of the standouts. These mods allow players to build bigger parks and give them more interesting and colorful dinosaurs to fill all that space in. Now you can see how some of the newcomers will fare against the old dinosaurs from before.
15 Dracodent💯itan 😼
The mod by DrPenny✤233 and FatEch introducesꦚ a new dinosaur to the game. Keeping with the theme of the world the Dracodentitan is a hybrid of the Baryonyx and the Polacanthus. The result is a terrifying dinosaur with the size of a t-rex, but with the litheness of a raptor.
The mod was designed to mak𝓡e the Dracodentitan obtainable in either Sandbox or Campaign mode. The mod creator has fully integrated it into the game with its own research path and Ingen Database entry. This is easily one 𒁃of the most in-depth and beautifully created mods for the game.
14 🔯 Diabloceratops
The mod by Magno introduces a new species to 🎃the game. It bears a resemblance to the Nasutoceratops, but with a few key differences. It has a large frill and horns that stand vertically from the head.
A few players have commented that its frills bear some resemblance to the Lord of Terror from𝔉 the Diablo series. At the moment It’s only available in the Sandbox version of the game, but the creator is working on full inclusion.
13 ♌ Excavar⭕aptor
The mod by Siaka introduces an interesting-looking raptor-type dinosaur to the game. It’s entirely black with large claws meant for both combat and excavation. It also has a large feathered tail and is roughly the siz♈e of other raptors in the game.
According to the creator, it was inspired by the infamous John Sayles Jurassic Park 4 movie script that featured the Excavaraptor, called Diggers in the script. Unlike the script, this dinosaur cannot launch out of the ground and attack opponents, but it does resembl🐭e the creature mentioned in the story.
12 Expanded🎀 Islands ♐
The mod by The Toho society is a quality of life upgrade for the game. With this mod installed the islands are now much larger and can support bigger parks. This allows players to buil꧃d all kinds of things and host a larger number of dinosaurs than they could before.
It does require a brand new map as it’ll corrupt old ones. B🥂ut once set up the available area to build will be much larger. It doesn’t cha🍌nge any other aspect of the game but gives players more freedom to build whatever they want with fewer limitations.
11 JFD Triceratops Prorsus 💃
The mod by Jagged Fang Designs is supposedly a🎐 scientific recreation of the historic creation. It replaces the vanilla Triceratops in-game with one that is more life-like. Because it replaces the Triceratops it’s fully accessible in Sandbox and Campaign versions of the game.
The design of the dinosaurs is impressive. They feature highly detailed models and there are a variety of coloriꦗng schemes for the dinosaur’s 🧸skins. They’re an artistic addition to the game that looks much better than the vanilla Triceratops.
10 E🅘xperimental Feathered Raptors
The mod by Demansia makes raptors more interesting by giving them feathers. The core body of the raptor remains unchanged, but their arms, tail, and b🐟ack of their head will have clusters of feathers.
The mod doesn’t give them flight or anything chaotic, it’s simply a retexture of the raptors in-game. For some players it can be a cool peak at the evolution of these creatures. For others it gives 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:one of the best dinosaurs in the game a unique appearance.
9 Magma Spinosaurus ಌ
The mod by IndoraptorPrototype replaces the skin of 🅠the Spinosaurus with a new look. The Spinosaurus now has a fin with black, red, and golden colors to give it a magma aesthetic.
The skin on top of the dinosaur near the fin makes it look like magma is bubbling up from the creature’s back and spilling across its body. It’s a neat aesthetic that makes the Spinosaur a main attraction of the ♊park.
8 𝐆 Environment Re-Work
The mod by DANNYBOB is a complete retexturing of every envi🐬ronment available in the game. According to the author of the mod the environment felt rather “dull” so they added more detail and coloring to give everything more life.
The mod adds things like Fallen Logs, changes the sand to look more like a desert, and🅘 changed rocks to actuall💟y have formations than be misshapen lumps. The result of this mod is more vibrant and colorful environments for the dinosaurs to roam around in.
7 Jurassic Park Expansion Pack ൩ 🧸
The mod by Lucca is an🐲 ambitious one. The author went through and retexturing or remodeled the dinosaurs in the game to resemble their movie counterparts across the original series.
Players can now find T-Rexes that resemble Buck and Doe from Jurassic Park: The Lost World, male and female Velociraptors from Jurassic Park III, and the🌞 Triceratops from Jurassic Park among others. The mod even a🦩dds the iconic goat from the first movie.
6 🥃 Skull Island Dinosaur Pack
The mod by sweetener looks to create a crossover between the Jurassic Park series and the world of King Kong. According to the mod&rsq🎉𝓰uo;s lore InGen scientists collected fossils from the sunken Skull Island and are giving life to the dinosaurs found there.
Iconic monsters from Skull Island like the Vastatosaurus, basically a T-Rex with a rhino-like horn, and the raptor-like Venatosaurus all make an appearance. It&rܫsquo;s a neat idea that&🔥rsquo;s well done in this mod pack.
