When you are playing through the main campaign, the star ratings are important as you need to hit and maintain a certain star rating for your park before you can unlock the next one on the next Island. As you progress through the campaign, the rating will need to be higher and higher. This is where this guide will come in, we're going to show you how to increase your star rating and how to keep it there.
How To Check Your Current Park Rating
You can check your park's current star rating you need to go into the menu that looks like this:
Here is where you will be told the ratinꦅg for the Island that you are currently on. The sta🍨r rating will apply only to that specific Island. Each Island has its own rating.
Do Not Let Your Guests Get Eaten

To get a really good rating for your park you need to avoid having any guest fatalities happen and the best way to do this is to avoid having Dinosaurs on the loose.
Having an ACU (Asset Containment Unit) in your park is essential because they can take care of the Dinosaurs if they break out som⛄ehow. The sooner escapee Dinosaurs are dealt with, the less chance there will be that they can kill a guest. However, you want to avoid having any escapees at all because that will instantly bring your rating down.
How Do I Stop Dinosaurs Escaping?
Dinosaurs🔯 are powerful creatures and if a Tropical Storm hits your Island, they can beco🦂me very troublesome. When a storm hits it can make their behavior a little erratic and they can start headbutting their fences to try to get out (this is more common with Carnivores).
If they hit the fence enough times, it will break and they can get out. A good way to lower the chances of this happening is to build stronger fences, but if you're playing the campaign you will have to wait to unlock these as you go along.
Make Your Guests Happy
A highly-𝕴rated park depends on how happy your guests are. If your guests are unhappy and their needs are not being met, then you will♈ have a hard time increasing your park rating. Guests are the key to getting five-stars. You can see what your guests need by going into management view.
To get a management view, pull up your side menu on the left-hand side of your screen and click on the eye. This will give you a ton of options to look at from Shelter coverage to your park's travel rating. You will see what areas are low in a certain aspect and if you can, you can then go and address the problematic areas.
Have Good Travel Links
Your guests will not enjoy walking around a massive theme park that spans an entire Island so you will need to put in travel links when you've unlocked them. You can use management view to see where your guests' ideal travel links should be placed and if it's within your budget, putting them there will make them very happy. Happy guests equal a great star rating.
Have A Good Guest Capacity
Overcrowding is a big problem that you're going to have to tackle as your park gets more popular. An overcrowded park means unhappy guests so you need to build Hotels. How many Hotels you build will depend on how many guests you want to have on your Island. Each Hotel will increase your park's guest capacity so you can have more guests there without it becoming overcrowded.
Avoid Power Outages
Power Outages can put stop buildings from working, cause gates to malfunction, and electric fences to fail. In short, power outages are really bad news if you're looking to have a 5-star park. There are a lot of ways that you can avoid power outages but the main one is to ensure that you have enough Power Stations to support all of your buildings.
Almost everything in your park will rely on power to work so taking some time to set out your power network properly will pay off and making a large investment in power systems 🌟will pay off in the long 💦run.

Having a great park rating isn't 100 percent down to your guest's needs as some of your star rating will depend on your Dinosaurs and their enclosures. After all, you are trying to run your own Jurassic Park so the number of Dinosaurs you have will impact your rating and the variety of species will too.
The Bigger Variety, The Better
When you go to a wildlife park in real life, you would usually expect to see a few different species of animals, and guests at your park are no different. When you click on a Dinosaur, you ღwill see the statistics for it appear on the left-hand side of your screen. When this pops up, you can head through a number of options to lea💙rn about your Dinosaur and one of the most important ones is the rating screen that looks like this:
This will tell you the star rating of your Dinosaur and the higher the star rating of the species, the more they will raise the entire park's rating. As well as having a good variety of dinosaurs, having a number of highly-rated Dinosaurs is a good idea.
Have Excellent Dinosaur Visibility
There really isn't much point in spending your hard-earned money to breed different Dinosaurs when your guests can't see them! Creating enclosures that meet the needs of your Dinosaurs is crucial, there is no argument there, but you need to make sure guests can see them too.

The further 🦄you get into the game and the more expeditions you do, you will be able to create some really unique species. If the eggs incubate successfully and you get your genetically altered breeds, your park rating will rocket up because you will have unique specimens.
Complete Contracts And Earn Reputation With All Divisions
