When you're creating and managing your park in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Jurassic World Evolution, there is a lot more than just dinosaurs that you need to think about in order to be successful. One of the biggest things that you need to think about when you're building your park is how you're going to power it all.

It may sound easy but powering your park can become rather complicated, especially when you have a lot of guest buildings to power and electric fences that keep the meanest of dinosaurs contained. Almost everything will need power to operate so it's no surprise that power outages can happen frequently. This is where this guide comes in, we're going to show you all the ways you can ensure that your park's risk of having an outage is little to none.

What Causes Power Outages?

Power outages can happen for a few different reasons. The most common one will be that the outage happens when you've got too many buildings or substations relying on one power station and the station cannot keep up with demand.

The other reason can be because a substation or a power station has been damaged in🔯 a tropical storm that has hit your park. Either way, both reasons for having😼 a power outage can be easily avoided or fixed when they occur.

Use Overhead View To Identify Potential Issues

At the press of a button, you can see an overhead detailed view of your park. It's a practical view, but it will clearly show you all of your power connections in your park. By knowing where you have power connections you will be able to identify potential problem areas and identify areas that you can improve.

Building Power Stations

Power stations are, as the name suggests, the sources of power for your park. You can build as many as you can afford, but be careful as their running costs are higher than you think. There are three different sizes of power stations that you can get in the game but if you're playing the campaign then you will only have access to all of them near the end of the story. Each one has a limit to the amount of power that it can provide:

  • Small Power Station: 60 Power Output
  • Medium Power Station: 80 Power Output
  • Large Power Station: 100 Power Output

You need to pay attention to how many connections you have made to the Power Station and how much output it has left after you've connected things to it.

How To Check The Power Station Output

To check how much outp🌠ut is left from a power station, hover the building and you should get a small box to appear.

This is the section that will tell you how much output 🐓it has and h🌺ow much is left unused:

You don't want to attach anything that will take the station over its limits as this will cause an outage.

How To Avoid Overloading A Power Station

Avoiding overloading a power station takes simple calculations. When you go to choose a building to create, you will see how much it will cost you. Just above this, you will be told how much power the building𒆙 needs to run.

Jurassic World Evolution Building Power Consumption

When you know how much power a building will need, you can see if it will connect safely to the closest power station or if you will need to become a bit creative with your connections to connect it to one more suitable that's a bit further away.

Upgrades Increase Power Consumption

The power consumption of a building when it's made is its base consumption and this will always increase when you add upgrades. To check how much the upgrade will impact the consumption, you need to go to the upgrades screen and when you hover over the desired upgrade you will see this:

This is telꦚling you how much your power consumption will increase♋ if you choose to add this upgrade.

The better the upgrade, the more it will add to the building's power consumption and this can overload a power station that was once able to support it.

When this happens, you will need to re-think your connections or you can build another power station if you're able to.

Building Substations

Jurassic World Evolution Small Substation Power Area

Substations are as important as power stations, perhaps even more so, bec𒅌ause they are how you are able to connect power to your buildings. When you build a substation, it has a specific area of effect that it can power, and naturally, the small substation has a smaller reach than the large one.

However, substations also consume power to operate so you need to think about their placement carefully. Trꦐy to be clever with your placement, such as placing one where it will power several buildings at a time instead of placing several of 🅠them down for each building.

Connecting Pylons

Jurassic World Evolution Dinosaur Pylon In Background

Pylons are the last piece of the power puzzle. They are the cables that connect and transport power from the power station to the substations that ultimately power the buildings. Once you've sorted out how many power stations you need and the substations you need, connecting the pylons is quite easy.

However, you still need to think strategically about the connections as you can easily find yourself getting confused with cables as your park develops. When you are connecting them, try to make sure it's clear which connections are heading where and which power station they are connected to. This will make it easier to recognize if there will be a major problem in an outage such as a dinosaur escaping and it will make it easier to alter your power grid later on if you need to.

Luckily, the pylons do not consume power so you can have as💦 many as you need without worrying about overloading the power station.

Rangers Are Important

Jurassic World Evolution Ranger Vehicle

Rangers are not only helpful for168澳洲幸运5开奖网: raising dinosaurs in Juras🙈sic World Evolution, but they can also be essential help in preventing power problems. When a tropical storm hits your park, there is a good chance that it will damage some of your buildings and this can become a problem when it damages any of the power elements. Storms can damage the power station and when this happens it will cause an outage for anyt🌟hing that is powered by it.

It's a similar case for substations, if one of them is damaged during a storm, it will cease to power anything surrounding it and this can be dangerous if it's an electric fence keeping a carnivore inside.

Fortunately, Rangers are to the rescue as they can do the repairs to these ღbuildings, and often they are done qui✃te quickly.

If you follow the basic rules laid out in this guide, you should be able to decrease your risks of man-made power outages and you will now know how t♏o quickly deal ♈with them if they do occur.
