During the boss fight against the weird block monster, Kaine origin𓃲ally said, "How'd you bastards get here?" Followed by "Stay there! I'll take care of this loser!🍸"
Now in the remake, Kaine addresses the monster saying, "There you are,💎 you bastard!" Then instea𓄧d of being interrupted by a shout of "Kaine" from Weiss, it's Gestalt who shouts her name as she appears in the temple window.
And then, just before leaping onto the monster to deliver the killing blow, Kaine yells, "I'm gonna 🌱kill the S--- out of you! Now hold still and DIE ALREADY!"
This is likely a r🤪eference to Nier: Automata's 2B, .
The trailer also confirms that Laura Bailey and Liam O'Brien will reprise their roles as Kaine and Grimoire Weiss in the remake. From the sound of it, Zach Aguilar will play the role of young Gestalt. The full English voice cast has yet toꦚ be officially anno🉐unced.
According to series producer Yosuke Saito and director Yoko Taro, if Nier Replicant sells half as many copies as Nier: Automata (168澳洲幸运5开༺奖网:which hit 5 million units last De🌜cember), then they'l♚l add old-🍬man Gestalt as a playable character. It’s a bit of a stretch goal, but there are a lot of Nier fans out there after Automata, so maybe it’s not so ಌout of reach൲.
