E3 is wrapping up as we speak, and the big𒅌 question is of course, who won? What games were the biggꦕest hits, what company had the most impressive showing, and who stands to rake in the most money?

It was an eventful year, and while there weren't a ton of surprises, we did find out a lot more about the games that we're anticipating t♔he most. While many of them aren't due to come out until next year, we can figure out what game was the biggest hit of E3 by looking at preorder sales, and seeing what game drove people to put their money down early.

Unsurprisingly,  looks to be the game that's got everyone throwing their wallets at their screens the fastest. The game's preorder sales placed it at the top of Gamestop's sales charts, beating out the Final Fantasy VII Remake, and a POP! figurine of Kingdom Hearts' Sora in his lion form. Gamestop patrons have some pretty eclectic taste🥀s apparently.

Meanwhile, Amazon sales data shows that people who like to get their games sent to them in the mail have remake fever, as the top preorders are for Final Fantasy VII Remake, and the reimagining of The Legend Of Zelda: Link's Awakening. In fact, Link's Awakening takes up a few spots, with the regular version, the collector's edition, and itsꦆ soon to be releas🐽ed Amiibo series all being sought after.

This isn't really surprising considering that these were some of the most hyped games prior to E3. and they managed to all have pretty strong showings at the event. Cyberpunk 2077 likely benefited from the positive publicity of having Keanu freaking Reeves come out, and charm the audience by virtue of simply being Keanu 🎀Rღeeves. People wanted to play the game before, but having John Wick live i🌄nside your head, and make sarcastic quips at you was the extra cherry on top.

Then we got the most footage of the Final Fantasy VII Remake that we've ever seen, which not only proved that it actually existed, but also looked pretty dang good. The combat is definitely more of an action RPG than the original, but the gameplay looked fluid, and we got to see what Barrett, Aerith, and Tifa's redesigns look like in motion. The game looks gorgeous, and most of all, incredibly funဣ.

Finally, The Legend Of Zelda: Link's Awakening wasn't the focal point of the E3 Nintendo Direct, but it showed off a lot of new game footage, which was so adorable you could overdose from the cuteness. People love Zelda, and people love cute things, so a cute Zelda is a no brainer when it comes to making big money. Plus, Nintendo proved again that occasionally they know what 🐈they're doing, because not only are people losing their minds over the game, but those Amiibo are going to fly off the shelves.

Thankfully, Final Fantasy VII Remake, and Cyberpunk 2077  release over a month apart from one another, which theoretically should be enough time to play each game to the fullest, as long as you don't get distracted by anything else. Meanwhile, Link's Awakening arrives on September 20th of t🐼his year, so you should be able to cozy up with your Switch, and some precious little Amiibo friend𒆙s this fall.
