While a lot of areas reꦑquire you to venture back to them with new abilities and the like, Rusu Mountain does no𝔍t. You can get every hat in one quick sweep from start to finish.
It begins with the Bird's Nest and ends with the big lumping Squash, adding to the cutesy Pixar flair that these little critters have.
Bird's Nest
Follow the path until you reach a broken stone bridge. Scale it, keep going, and you'll find a torn-down rope bridge. Instead of trying to cross it, turn right.
Follow this side path up until you reach a cursed chest. Open it, fight the enemies, and you'll get the Bird's Nest hat as a reward.
Whirly Bird
Once you get the bow, you'll have a whole range of courses to try out.
At the very back, on the cliff, there's an unreachable lever that you use your Rot to pull. To the right, there's a Hat Cart. Opening it up nets you the Whirly Bird.
Rusu's Mask
There are a few different courses to train with. One of these sees you running in a circle, shooting six targets. Once you've done that, you'll get Rusu's Mask for your archery know-how.
Feather
Once you arrive back at the village, now devoid of corruption, you'll find yourself at a large abode. Behind it is an alcove. Go inside and command your Rot to bring the cog ahead. Then, fire an arrow at the crystal. Use the new ledge to reach the next area and walk onto the wooden platform. Turn around and shoot the crystal.
You'll be brought to a higher point where you'll find a blue flower. Shoot it and you'll grapple toward it and then immediately aim right to shoot another blue flower. Here, you'll find a chest with the Feather hat.
Flower
Head back down to the alcove and cleanse it. You can do so by shooting the gem on the statue and then having your gooey Rot amalgamation break all the red corruption. The Flower hat is now yours.
Squash
In front of the house is a farm with a wheel that sports two targets. Behind that is a lower ledge with an owl statue. Have your Rot pick it up and move it to the front of the house. Doing so will net you the Squash hat.
