Where To Find All The Rot In The Village
1. Right in the town center, there's a sparkling pot. All you need to do is pulse to knock it over, revealing a Rot.
2. To the right of the Mask Shrine, there's a little nook that takes you to a red lake. Don't dive in - it'll kill you. However, if you stop just short, you'll find a rock that your Rot can lift. This will reveal another Rot that'll join your merry band of friendly fuzzballs.
3. Once you've been to the Mask Shrine to speak to the old man, he'll give you an item that will open a new path. There, you'll come across a house on the right-hand side. You can use your Rot to move a barrel, letting you get in through the roof. Once inside, you'll find some mail. With it in hand, deliver the message to the house opposite and you'll be allowed in. Fight some monsters in the courtyard and the corruption will fade away. With that done, you can head around back and find a bench with a pot on it. Tap the pulse key and a little Rot will scurry out. Grab it.
4. When you return to the village after Forgotten Forest, Taro's Tree, and Rusu Mountain, you should have some mail in hand. Bring it to this house marked on the map and you'll be able to cleanse it, reveali✱ng a log on the right-hand side that you c𓂃an command your Rots to lift, revealing another Rot.
5. Another piece of mail can be delivered to the large circular, tree home just next to the town center. Inside are three cursed chests. The first will get you a Rot.
6. South from the town center, in the elongated house, you can use mail from Forgotten Woods to break the barr🎀ier, revealing the next Rot.
7. Once you return to the village from freeing Taro's spirit, you'll be tasked with helping another. A new path opens, and a new path means new Rots to collect. Take a direct left toward the giant tree. Follow the circular stairwell until you see a lantern tinted purple. Use your pulse to wriggle the Rot out of it.
8. After you return from Fields, head toward the entrance to the game's world as a whole. On the left (as per the map), there's a home you can use mail at.
Enter this hamlet and slay the monsters. Afterward, venture to the frog pond in the garden and shoot the crystals. Then, a Rot will appear on a lilypad.
9. Make your way to the docks and, just below the bridge to Storehouse, there's a place to deliver mail. Head inside, fight the enemies, cleanse the place, and then grapple to the crane.
Look around for a Rot stuck in a pot and pull them up with your pack of miscreants. The little critter will join your pack and give you their hat.
10. Now that you have the bomb ability, lob one at the rocks in the entrance to the expanded village. There's a Rot underneath.
11. To the left of the entrance of Taro's Tree, there's a drawbridge you can shoot down. Cross it, go below the house, and find a lever. It brings up some targets you can shoot to eaꦆrn a Rot.
12, 13, and 14. Confront Toshi's Fear and you'll get three Rot as a reward.
15. Head to the top right of the village by the two mail delivery points. Follow the right one's path until you reach a house. Jump over the banister onto the platform below to find a Rot chilling.
16. Venture back to the left mail delivery point. Cleanse the corruption and enter the house. Get your Rot to lift up the box and you'll find a baby one underneath.
17. Head to the village entrance and there is a small house that needs some mail. Deliver it and venture in, cleansing the corruption. Afterward, head to the little abode's back garden.
You should see some white marking on a cliff. Climb up and jump onto the roof of the bigger home. Here, you'll find a purple rune.
Use pulse on it to summon some targets. Shoot 'em all and net yourself a Rot.
18, 19, and 20. When you confront Toshi's Love, you'll get three Rot.
21. You should have found some mail in Toshi's Love. With it, head back to the docks and deliver it. Cleanse the building of its corruption.
At the top, there's a room with a chest inside. Open it to get your next Rot.
22, 23, and 24. Complete Toshi's Regret to get the last three Rot.
