Kerbal Space Program 2 has been delayed due to COVID🍎-19. Don’t act so surprised.
Yep, we’ve got another game delay to give you thanks to that stupid virus that’s been mucking things up all year. Developer Squad announced earlier this week via Twitter that Kerbal Space Program 2 wiꦇll now release in the fall of 2021 rather than later this year as initially pla♒nned. Because 2020 can’t have anything good happen in it.
"With everything going on in the world today due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we're facing many unique challenges that require more time to safely iterate, create, test, and make KSP2 as great as it can be," Squad wrote in their Twitter post. "We understand this isn't the news you were hoping to see, but ultimately we need to make the best decision for the development of Kerbal Space Program 2."
On the plus side, the developers will keep us up to date with "feature 🐬videos, developer blogs, and other content" in the months leading up to launch. Of which there are many.
