Dr DisRespect's (also known as Herschel "Guy" Beahm IV) career has taken a nosedive over the past week, after it was revealed that the stream🐓er was banned from Twitch back in 2020 due to him sending explicit messa♒ges to a minor over the now defunct messaging system Twitch Whispers. It seems no matter where you look, Beahm is losing support, though he recently stated in a long Twitter post earlier this week that he wouldn't be disappearing completely following his extended vacation. We already know that he's been permanently banned from Twitch, and it seems unlikely that YouTube will continue to give him a home, but it seems as though Beahm may have an ally in rival streaming platform Kick.

Kick's head of strategic partnerships, Andrew Santamaria, was asked on a recent stream whether the company has preemptively banned Beahm from setting up on the platform following the accusations made against him this week (thanks ). Rather than giving those concerned a solid answer, Satamaria has kind of batted away the question for another day, claiming that it's currently "too soon" to decide whether Beahm should be banned from the platform.

That is a little odd, as you'd have thought that not a single company out there would be willing to work with Beahm given the amount of baggage he's carrying at the moment. Then again, it's not like Kick has a squeaky clean reputation to uphold either, as it's considered the place for controversial streamers to go to get away with things that often wouldn't fly on YouTube and Twitch.

It's possible that Kick could eventually decide to preemptively ban Beahm if he ever returns to streaming, like he claimed he would in his most recent statement. Santamaria wasn't very clear in his wording of the situation and mostly just brushed the question to the side, though he didn't rule out not banning him either.
