The two red herrings are a man who's in the middle of the area by the tree, and a man called Scribe Gaibl who's in the corner where the food is being served. You can talk to both of them 🐓to learn more about the people at the wedding, but ultimately neither know anything about th🎶e sword.

How To Find Young Lord Semine’s Sword
You're told🍷 that the person who stole the sword was seen coming from the area by the tree and that he was last seen with the sword on the battlements. Therefore, it must have been hidden somewhere in that area.
You will find the sword in the water, through the gap in the fortress wall. It's just by the area where the tree is. If you look over the edge of the wooden platform, the sword is in the water, so grab it.
If you managed to impress the young girl when you first arrived at the weddi𓃲ng, you'll have been in the little area by the water before. You spoke to her in private there.
You can now head back to the blacksmith with the sword you found and explain how you found it. The quest then conti🎀nues.
