Creative Assembly Deserves To Make A Lord Of Th🐭e Rings Total War Game
Creative Assembly deserves a break, and a Lord of the Rings game would be♌ perfect in its capable hands
Just a few dayꦉs ago, . Well, weꦇ can all stop speculating as Warhorse has confirmed that its next game is indeed Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, which will see the return of Henry as he continues his adventures in Bohemia in 1403.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Is Real, Launching This Year
, but it's clear that the focus on delivering a realistic quest for vengeance in the Middle Ages is still at its core. While talking about the game in a pre-reveal press stream, Warhorse said that the sequel is what it wanted to make six years ago, but couldn't due to a lack of resources and experience.
As you can imagine, that means that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is a lot bigger than the first game. Not only are there five hours of cutscenes this time around comp🧸ared to the three that were in the original game, but the world map is also said to be around twice as large, with several stunning vistas shown off in the trailer.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 isn't the only release in the series this year, .
Henry is also said to be much more customisable this time around, with players being able to influence whether he acts as a heroic knight, a thief, a charming scoundrel, and more. A reworked crime system also means that NPCs will respond to what you do, including if you choose to walk around town with no clothes. Oh, and you've got crossbows and early firearms to work with this time around too.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 wasn't given a set release date or window during the reveal, but it has been confirmed to be launching at some point in 2024 for current-gen consoles and PC, so we shouldn't have to wait too long to get our hands on it.
