One of the most interesting aspects of Hardcore Mode is your lack of navigation tools. You're stripped of your compass, and your position on your map is no longer shown to you. Instead, you're forced to use more traditional forms of finding your ꧃way around, such as talking to people, and even using the celestial bodies themselves.
