T𝓀racking down and completing all of the Flantastic Seven's challenges comes with a ton of rewards like new abilities and cooking ingredients, but it's also required if you're trying to synthesize the most powerful Keyblade in the game: Ultima Weapon. Plus you'll get yourself a trophy/achievement out of it, so there's something in it for everyone.
These desert shaped heartless are found in the worlds you'🤡ve already completed, and will show up as small crꦑowns on the ground with different types of fruit adorning them. Approach each one and interact with them to summon the flan and start their mini-game.
Cherry Flan Location
The first flan of the seven can b☂e found in Olympus. ♛Start at the Thebes Outlook save point and head up the stairs all the way to the dead end at the top. In the middle of the area you'll see a rather large crown, which has a cherry on top.
This challenge puts you on Goofy's shield sledding through Olympus with the goal of bowling over as many flans as you can without crashing too often or ru🔜nning out of time. Hitting a wall will slow you down, and too many bumps will end your attempt. Make sure to ride over the arrows on the ground to regain any lost speed, but also to avoid hitting walls since they will always send you on the correct path.
If you get at least 10,000 points you'll earn one Sour Cherry, but getting over 20,000 earns you two Sour Cherries and the 🐎Formchange Extender ability.
Orange Flan Location
The൲ next flan is in the Kingdom of Corona. Here, you need to st🤡art at the Tower and head back through the cave. Immediately after entering the Hills area, look left to see the Orange crown.
This flan wil🃏l test your photography skills. Just like Pokemon Snap, you need to get the best pictures of flan moving around and doing actions around the area. You will need to get seven Excellent ratings to get the high score here.
Don't just snap a picture right away when you see a group of flan. Watch them and wait for them to strike a pose before taking the pic🍨tꦓure. Always make sure you're facing directly in front of the flan and place them in the center of the frame - don't go too artsy with it. Here are some Excellent poses to look for:
- Waving
- A flan that has just appeared out of the ground
- Flying with butterflies
- Jumping out of a tree and turning into food
- A group of five all striking a pose
If you get 10,000 points you will receive two Blood Orangesℱ, but if you get all Excellent pictures and score 23,000 you get three 🧔Blood Oranges and the Treasure Magnet ability.
Strawberry Flan
Jump into the Toy Box world at the Galaxy Toys save point. Head toward the ven♑ding machines in the back and you'll spot this next flan right away.
This is one of the easier flan challenges to get the high score on, and has you controlling a spinning teacup to create a tower of flans as high as possible. Each flan you run into stacks on top of you, increasing your score, but colliding with wal𓄧ls, flans riding strawberries, or the ceiling will knock some off your stack. Focus on gathering up the ones on the floor, then start grabbing the ones floating from balloons when you can reach them. Make sure to stay towards the center once you get this high since the ceiling will start to become a problem. After getting over 17,000, just hang out in a safe area and wait out the timer.
Anything less than 17,000 will net you three Strawberries🎃, but 17,000 or more will get yo🥃u those three strawberries plus the Attraction Extender ability.
Grape Flan
At the North Mꦐountain - Mountain Ridge save point of Arendelle, leap off the cliff to the left of the Moogle shop to the plဣateau down below. The Grape Flan will be sticking out of the snow.
This is a simple challenge — you just have to defeat as many flan as possible — but it requires more strategy than you might think. A good strategy is to swap out Blizzaga for the standard Blizzard to maximize your MP. One hit from a Blizzard will freeze a flan solid, making them go down in just one hit when they would otherwise be quite tanky. Beyond that, be ready to repel each flan's purꩵple magic attack back at them. This will also freeze them, leaving them open to an easy strike. Plus it leaves trails you can flow motion along to reach them quickly.
If you score at least 17,000 points you will get one Grape, but reach the higꦏh score of 20,000 and you'll get three and the Unisonಌ Blizzard ability.
Watermelon Flan
Set sail for Th🍌e Caribbean and dock at Port Royal - Fort for this flan. You can spot it in the center of the courtyard just around the corner from the save point.
This challenge is a kind of Space Invaders type game where flans will fly towards the wall of the fort while you try and shoot them ꧃down with the four mounted cannons. If a single flan reaches the wall, you will lose and need to start over.
The best tip for this challenge is to never run. Whenever you need to move between cannons, roll or air slide depending on how far you need to go. Running is the least efficient movement option, and you'll need to be as mobile as possible for this mini-game. Second, the positions of the flans far off can be deceiving, sometimes looking more toward the center w♋hen they're actually on the edge.
Every once in a while a large flan flying horizontally across the map will appear, and if you manage to splat this one with a will timed cannon ball all the existing flans on the screen will be wiped out, so prioritize them as much as possible. Finally, pay attention to the bell in the center of all the cannons. Once it starts to shine you ca🍌n hit it to automatically fire all four cannons in rapid fire, making it much easier to hit the giant flan, or save your skin if multiple flans are closing in.
Score at least 17,000 for a Watermelon, or over 29,000 for three Watermelons and Focus Sꦺyphon.
Honeydew Flan
Now on to San Fransokyo. Travel to The City - South District at nܫight and go to the roof of the circular building you will see just north of you on the map.
The goal of this mini-game is to stay in the air as long as you can by bouncing between flan. This one is also pretty simple, but note that you can only jump off a flan o🙈nce. After the first bounce they will look up and open their mouths in an attempt to swallow y🍌ou. Don't let yourself become this dessert's dinner and move on to another flan.
Anythingꦯ below 15,000 will reward you with a Melon, and over that amount will give you three Melons plusꦛ the Attraction Extender ability.
Banana Flan
The last of the Flantastic S🅰even is in The Factory Basement of Monstropolis. From the save point, head right and go through the white door, then the brown door on the far left. The flan will be behind you.
The goal here is to tꦓake out as many smaller flan as you can while avoiding the giant one trying♏ to eat you. This can seem difficult, but is made almost too easy by boosting your thunder and circling the arena spamming Thundaga, popping ethers when you run out of MP.
Reach 🐼a score of 20,000 or more for three B༺ananas and the Grand Magic Extender.
