By the end of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Kingdom Hearts III, it was obvious that plans for a sequel were already in the works. However, even though games set up sequels, that doesn't always mean they will get made. Games leave off on cliffhangers all the time and are never resolved. Mega Man Legends 2’s en꧑din൲g is a constant reminder especially since a sequel was .
Anyway, now that it has been revealed that Kingdom Hearts III was one of the selling games in 2019 for the U.S., this must have given Square Enix enough confidence to let director and series creator, Tetsuya Nomura, continue to do his thing. In a recent with Famitsu, Nomura revealed that besides the mobile game, Project Xehanort, there are two other sequels in the works right now. The latest DLC definitely has some hints on where the series could go so here are some educated guesses based on some trivia, which will include some SPOILER talk.
10 ♊Dream Drop Distance 2
Despite the DLC not expanding upon the secret movie at the end of Kingdom Hearts III, it is still possible that a game could still take place in another set of dream worlds. ♍The groundwork is already there and it couldn't have just 𒉰been set up for a boss battle. Plus Riku needs a game to start in again.
The original Dream Drop Distance game was a 3DS exclusive before it got remade on PS4 via Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue🌞. It would make sense then that this, or some game, could be exclusive for Switch.
9 🎃ℱ Chain Of Memories 2
This could be another possible exclusive for the Switch. To review the series' legacy, every Nintendo portable has received an exclusive game starting with Chain of Memories on the Game Boy Advance, followed by 358/2 Days on DS, and ending with the aforementioned Dream Drop Distance on 3DS. Not putting a game on Switch would break tradition. Luxord di꧙d give Sora a card so perhaps using it with the power of Naminé could create another castle of cards.
8 Re:Coꦰded 2 🌠
There was another DS exclusive, Re:Coded, which was actually a remake of a Japanese mobile game. It's all about playing as Sora's digital dou🉐ble and is basically a rehash of the original game. Since Sora was digitally doubled again in the DLC, it could stand to reason that this could further be expanded upon in a new game.
7 Team Lea
Now that Lea has his oldest friends back, i.e. Isa, Xion, and Roxas, there could potentially be a game starring the four of them. It could actually work like 358/2 Days in that the focus co🔯uld be on multiplayer, spe💙cifically, a four person co-op game.
Square Enix has experimented 𒈔with multiplayer in the past, but only on handheld devices. The time for a full-fledged console multiplayer experience in this universe has come.
6 Team Aqua
Also in Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue was Aqua's solo adventure into the realm of darkness. Now that it has been established that there are worlds within this realm it stands to reason that another game could take place here. Since Aqua, Terra, and Ventus were shown to have gone in there in the DLC, this is even more proof. This could also work as a multiplayer game albeit on the smaller scale of three player co-oꦰp people.
5 Kairi X-2
Even though Kairi got a Keyblade at the end of the second game and was being trained in Kingdom Hearts III, she didn't get a moment to shine until a single boss fight in the DLC. For some reason Sora disappeared after he rescued her and she doesn't remember what happened. So she is put to sleep in order to wake her memories. This could be a great way for her to have a solo adventure in the dream world and or to include other females as well sort of like how Final Fantasy X-2 became a “girly” RPG.
4 ꧅ Xehanort Eater
As was established in the intro, Project Xehanort will be a new mobile game coming out presumably about Xehanort. There must be a reason why he went crazed and hints of this can be traced back to the DLC. It could be theorized that the Master of Masters somehow led young Xehanort down the path of darkness. While the mobile game could do an okay job of this, hoping for a full-fledged console game expanding upon this may also be interesting for fans sort of like what Metal Gear Solid did for Big Boss.
3 ඣ 𓄧 Yozora Joins The Fight
This is admittedly a farfetched theory for a sequel and could play out one of two ways. One, the game could begin with the conceit of Rex and the other Toy Story heroes playing Verum Rex, which t🤪hen switches to players actually playing the game for themselves.
The other, more plausible way this could get made, would be for Nomura to make Final Fantasy Versus XIII in his vision, substituting Yozora in Noctis' stead. The actual more logical thing is that if Dream Drop Distance 2 does happen, he would be apart of it.
2 Final Fantasy Takes Over ♌ 🃏
Another possible way to include Yozora would be to have a game starring Final Fantasy characters in their own spinoff. In a way Kingdom Hearts is a spinoff of that series so this would be like a convoluted full circle approach to a sequel, which seems fitting for the series. Leon, Aerith, Yuffie, and Cid appeared in the DLC, but where were Cloud and Tifa? Having them pursue Yozora in his world, or a series of other inspired worlds based on Final Fantasy, may not just satiate Kingdom Hearts fans, but Final Fantasy VII diehards as well.
1 Thꦡe Keyblade Wars
Even though Kingdom Hearts χ technically takes place during the Keyblade Wars, it is not what fans had originally imagined a game would be about when the concept was introdueced. Creating a console, or even just an enhanced remake of this could be like Kingdom Hearts' version of Destiny. Again, the series has experimented wiꦉth multip🅠layer before so one of these sequels, no matter if it is this, or the Aqua, or Lea projects, has to include multiplayer. The odds are high.
