There Is No Right Kingdom Hearts Game To Play First 🍨
Withဣ the franchise finally coming to Steam, plenty of gamers will jumping into Kingdom Hearts for the firs💙t time.
To be honest, though, might not be the news that fans were hoping to hear. One such detail is that Kingdom Hearts 4 is being made with the intent of eventually moving towards the 𝄹overall story's conclusion, despite starting a new saga.
Kingdom Hearts 4 Is Being Made With A Series Conclusion In Mind
Earlier today, the latest issue of Young Jump went live, which includes a rare interview wi🌸th Kingdom Hearts creator Tetsuya Nomura. During the interview, and reveals a number of things about its development and goals, such as it acting as both a story reset and a jumping-in point for newcomers.
, Nomura also revealed that Kingdom Hearts 4 and the new saga that it'sꦑ kicking off are being made with the intent of eventually moving towards the series' conclusion. Nomura says that he's planning on retiring at some point 🦩in the next few years, and that people always ask him whether he'll finish the series by then.
Considering how little we know about Kingdom Hearts 4 beyond it introducing a whole new saga for the series, it's tough to imagine what Nomura means here. While Kingdom Hearts 4 clearly isn't going to be the last Kingdom Hearts game, i🌄t sounds like the new story that it's beginning will eventually conclude the series.
Kingdom Hearts is very much Nomura's baby, but it's possible he could still be involved with the series to a lesser degress if it𒀰 carries on without him.
That might sound like the worst possible news to come from Nomura, but what he likely means iܫs finishing off Sora's story and his hands-on involvement with the series. Kingdom Hearts probably isn't just going to go away any time soon, but it does makওe some sense that Sora eventually gets to return to Destiny Island in peace.
