Disney Reportedly Working On Animated Kingdom Hearts Movie

Last week, it was reported that Disney was working on ♓a Kingdom Hearts TV show or 🦂movie, though it wasn't clear which. Another insider has now claimed that it's a movie, and it may even get a theatrical release.

"Disney is developing an animated 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Kingdom Hearts movie," said in a Q&A addressing the rumours. "While years ba🧸ck I heard the id🎉ea was to do something on Disney+, more recently I have heard the goal would be big screen adaptation, but as of now, these are just rumblings and nothing has been greenlit."

This isn't the first we've heard about a Kingdom Hearts adaptation. Back in 2020, The Vulcan Reporter editor-in-chief Emre Kaya leaked something similar. "There is a Kingdom Hearts series in the works at Disney+," . "Disney originally wanted to make it but that didn't work out, so Square Enix was asked to create a pilot using Unreal Engine. The series is most likely not live-action, but CG animated. They're currently casting."

It's possible the project began as a TV show but that plans changed. Either way, there are now three insiders claiming that Disney has some kind of Kingdom Hearts adaptation in the works.

What Fans Want To See From The Kingdom Hearts Movie

With rumours bubbling of a Kingdom Hearts movie, fans have been sharing ev🌌erything they want to see when Sora finally makes it to the silver s♏creen.

"Please make it animated and please animat🎉e each character in their respective styles like Once Upon a Studio did," @ZakaZ96 sai🍬d.

"It would be so funny if they didn't do it like a movie version of KH1 and instead do that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:'everything is canon' thing and make a Kingdom Hearts movie set after KH3, and audiences who haven't played every single game in the franchise are just totally lost," @ChrisVoiceman tweeted. For bonus points, they should release an old-school video game tie-in exclusive to Nintendo Switch that introduces pivotal characters ahead of KH4.

"This will🤡 only be good if Tetsuya Nomura is given unlimited creative control and makes it somehow ine♎xplicably canon and you need to have played four smartphone games that went under in 2017 to understand the plot," @CorvoSol added.

We know nothing about the film yet other than it reportedly being animated, so any one of these fans could be right. Maybe it'll be vital viewing for KH4, or maybe it'll try to adapt the first game. We'll just have to wait and see.
