Riku is one of the most complicated characters in the series. H♕e was one of the first main characters introduced in the series and was supposed to be the original wielder of the keyblade. Riku instead turned to darkness for a short bit of time before finally getting a keyblade of hi﷽s own.

While gamers do briefly get to see the group on the Destiny Islands, it seems like there is little time to relax for the gang as the organization never stops moving. In this picture, viewers get a brief glimpse at what looks like a moment of rest for Riku in his homeworld. One of the biggest themes in Kingdom Hearts is friendship which is shown in this picture. The two are likely floating through or out of the dream world together after Riku saved Sora. Despite all they have been through and having a few fights, Riku🔥 and Soꦆra are still best friends.
