I can't believe it's taken Square Enix this long but, , that's exactly what it's doing. The 52-card deck is designed to look exactly like the ones used in Chain of Memories, right down to the crown-shaped top, the big number on the bottom right, and the images used on the cards themselves. Thankfully, the deck isn't just for show and can be used for card games, as there are also Kings, Jacks, and Jokers. Get ready for a special Kingdom Hearts edition of Ring of Fire this September, everyone I've ever known!
The best thing about this deck is that, surprisingly for Square Enix, it's reasonably priced at around $21. Card decks aren't usually expensive, sure, but this is also the company that slaps a few hearts and crowns on a sofa, charges two grand for it, and then calls it a day. This is something that fans have actually wanted for a while, so it's nice to see that Square isn't charging an arm and a leg for a surprisingly clever bit of merch.
