168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory is not what most fans thought it would be. It's a rhythm game, and a decent one at that, but it doesn't do a lot of the typical Kingdom Hearts elements. That is to say fꦺans have been waiting to hear more answers in the story since Kingdom Hearst III came out in 2019.

There was some DLC this year, but it clearly wasn't enough to satiate fans. The same might be true for this so know that going i💜n. This is all to say a lot of things don't work in this spinoff, but it's not 𒁏all bad so let's check out the positives and negatives.

10 Best: Still Great Music

One of the best thingsꦉ abಞout the series that has carried across all entries is the music. The good news is that the music still sounds good for Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory thanks to Yoko Shimomura’s score. It would be𓆉 weird to have a rhythm game without good music. There are very rare exceptions to what has been neglected but for the most part the gang, being music, is all here.

9 Worst: Not All Music Is Great For Gameplay

As good as the music is, some of it doesn’t fit for an action game. The theme’s for Traverse Town and T🎃wil🦋ight Town are iconic, but don’t exactly work for what Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory is trying to present. Themes like those are best used for exploration, not actio💯n. On top of🥀 that it would have been nice to see more more remixes instead of getting a straight rip of the score.

8 Best: Lots To Do

One could complete this in a short amount of time. After all, even though there is leveling these are just songs that last three minutes or less. There’s not much story and no exploration to pad things out like a normal RPG. That said there are many reasons to keep playing after the end credits. Higher difficulties put the rhythm in this rhythm action🔯 game which is to say it gets better. Plus there is just so many extras to unlock for those really keen on Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory.

7 Worst: No Setup

Speaking of the story, the setup is weird in that there is no setup. Some of these 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Kingdom Hearts spinoffs are light on their reasons for existing like Re:coded,ܫ but they at least begin with thesis statements as it were. It takes a long time before any new content will be discovered in this game though. Most of the story befo📖re that is just recapping events, briefly, from the previous games.

6 Best: You Can Skip

Rewatching these cutscenes in a truncated manor, for fans, is not fun. The﷽se games have been retold too many times to count and one more is one more too✅ many.

One can at least be thankful that these recaps can be skipped which is recommended. Again, until the new story begins, wওhich will be obvious, one should know that they aren’t missing out on anything if they skip recaps.

5 Worst: Beats Can Feel Off

Having three difficulty modes for each song that can be adjusted easily i✨s great. However, because of this, it also means that the beats are off key. As it was said earlier, the higher one goes the more rhythm will be thrown into this rhythm game. Playing on the easiest difficulty, beginner, almost has no rhythm at all. In fact on🎐e can easily mute a level and still be victorious.

4 Best: Colorful

Instead of keeping up with the most modern entry, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Kingdom Hearts III, this game takes on the visuals of the original. This works because the art style from the 💖PS2 still holds up especially with the HD remasters. Everything is super bright and colorful which is needed for a whimsical musical adventure like this. It’s not groundbreaking in the graphics department, but it wins style points.

3 Worst: Reuses Levels Too Much

However, there are some problems with the set designs. Even though a world like Agrabah from Aladdin has multiple song𝓀s, it reuses almost the exact same layout.

It would have been more interesting to explore more locations from these Disney classics. On top of that it would also mꦏake more sense, given some song choices li﷽ke the aforementioned town themes, to not always include monsters.

2 Best: Multiplayer

For those curious, there are two options for multiplayer in this game. They aren’t amazing by multiplayer standards in that they are simple, but they are fun especially to play alongside fellow 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Kingdom Hearts fans. There is c𓃲o-op to literally play together and then there is a versus mode players can compete with others online. This mode can also be played against bots to get some practice in.

1 Worst: Forced Collecting

As🔜 good as the soundtrack is, taste is a fickle thing. Not every song is amazing to play as it has been said multiple times now. That’s😼 why it’s not ideal that one can’t simply jump in and play the songs they want. Much of Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory is locked behind a star system which basical꧙ly means everything almost has to be played at least once. This makes gettin༒g to the new stuff even harder as the wait can be killer.
