the course of the game, you're going to need to find a ton of hidden Waddle Dees throughout the many levels.
Each level will have between three and four hidden Waddle Dees that can be found. How to do so is different for each Waddle Dee in each level, but we've managed to find all of the ones within Everbay Coast, the game's second world. Here's how to find them.
Every Everbay Coast Hidden Waddle Dee In Kirby And The Forgotten Land
Abandoned Beach
Hidden Waddle Dee 1
To get this hidden Waddle Dee, you’ll need to go to the second section of the level where you have to fight the hammer-wielding boss and unlock that Copy Ability. Take the Hammer with you just a bit further to see a yellow ladder. Climb it and hit the nail with the hammer.
Hidden Waddle Dee 2
In the next section of the level, keep swimming until you see a Woofer sleeping on a rock to the right. Follow that rock trail up to find another nail for your hammer. Hit it to open a secret path, leading to a challenge where y♑ou hit a nail and have to reach the Waddle Dee in time.
Hidden Waddle Dee 3
The final hidden Waddle Dee of this level can be found in the last section. You’ll get introduced to the Wheel Mouth Mouthful Mode Kirby that can shout air. Use it on the windmills you see throughout the level to raise a platform with a boat. Use this boat and ram it into the cracked wall on the upper left-hand side. Follow this path to find 𝓡the Waddle Dee.
Concrete Isles
Hidden Waddle Dee 1
The first hidden Waddle Dee in Concrete Isles can be found after finding the first five star shards in the level. The first five are on the path you take through the level and are pretty much unmissable. Getting all five will raise a crane sat in the sea, revealing the hidden Waddle Dee in the chest.
Hidden Waddle Dee 2
The second hidden Waddle Dee can be found in a similar manner to the first. Simply collect all five of the orange star shards to raise another crane that you can then collect the Waddle Dee from. You'll find all of these shards from digging with the Drill power, but they're again in a pretty obvious spot.
Hidden Waddle Dee 3
Right before you use the warp star located at the halfway point of the level, jump over the barrier to swim towards an island in the distance. Not only will you find a hidden Waddle Dee here on an island, but you'll also get this secret objective. This is a tough one!
Hidden Waddle Dee 4
The fourth hidden Waddle Dee of the level is found like the others. In the final section of the level, simply collect all five green shards using the Drill Copy Ability. They're once again obvious to find, but for one of them you'll need to dig up a warp star on the right to reach a bit higher up and use Mouthful Mode on a pole, crashing it into a building and getting the final piece. Underneath that final piece is a gate that opens with the Waddle Dee inside.
Scale The Cement Summit
Hidden Waddle Dee 1
The first hidden Waddle Dee of the level is found very close to the start of the level. Once you've climbed the first ladder, go the left to see a swimming pool. Right near the edge of that pool is a locker you can use Mouthful Mode on to tip over and find the Waddle Dee behind it.
Hidden Waddle Dee 2
The second Waddle Dee is found after defeating Fleurina. Keep going up through the level to find a button to press that'll make the Waddle Dee appear on a timer. Reach it using Tornado to save it.
Hidden Waddle Dee 3
Near the second wanted poster of the level, after you beat Fleurina, you can head South to find the level's secret room. In it, you need to use Tornado to hit buttons in time to save a hidden Waddle Dee. You also need to do it without getting hit to get a secre💝t objective.
Hidden Waddle Dee 4
After you've climbed the tower you'll get to use Mouthful Mode on a gate to fly around a linear course. Stick to the right of the course and you'll eventually see a cracked wall. Bust through it to find the hidden Waddle Dee.
Fast-Flowing Waterworks
Hidden Waddle Dee 1
The first hidden Waddle Dee of Fast-Flowing Waterworks is very easy to find. Simply follow the river down and go through the middle tunnel where you'll see a Waddle Dee right in the open.
Hidden Waddle Dee 2
The second Waddle Dee can be found after fighting the enemies in an arena. Keep going through to reach the second star door, but don't go through it. Instead, break the bomb block to reveal a secret passage you can go through for a boat section. Reach the end of this section by taking the right path, the left path, and then the middle path and you'll get the Waddle Dee.
Hidden Waddle Dee 3 & 4
The third and fourth hidden Waddle Dees are found in the same spot. When you get to the third part of the level, you'll see buttons you need to put stairs on with Mouthful Mode. The first set of stairs you'll need is found by crossing the water, while the second is found behind a path of flaming logs you'll need to extinguish with Ice. Put both pairs on the red buttons to reveal the Waddle Dees.
Hidden Waddle Dee 5
The fifth Waddle Dee (that's right, five!) can be found in the fourth area that features whirlpools. On the third whirlpool, go to the right to see a button you can press to create a path in front of you, where the final Waddle Dee will be.
