The rumor mill is working at full speed with next-gen consoles on the horizon. One current rumor swirling is that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Metal Gear Solid and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Death Stranding creator H♏ideo Kojima will be working with Sony on PS♏5 exclusives.
According to a stream from HipHopGamer, the famed video game developer's studio, Kojima Productions, will be developing exclusive titles for the PlayStation 5. When Kojima decided to go independent a few years back, he eventually formed a studio called Kojima Productions. This was following the dispute he had with Konami, which had soured the development process of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain.
In his decision to form Kojima Productions, Sony had supported him creatively and financially in the company's partnership with Kojima's Productions. As such, the Kojima-headed studio likely is, and will continue to be, developing exclusives for the PS5 going forward.
HipHopGamer also made mention of the idea that Kojima may be involved with the development of a horror exclusive on the PS5. This would make sense from the viewpoint that, since Silent Hills never saw the light of day past 🃏a♌ memorable demo, Kojima would return to the genre for a second go.
Further, there are elements of horror in the Metal Gear Solid series and Death Stranding.
Given Kojima's history with Sony, it is sensible that his studio and Sony work closely together moving forward. Multiple Metal Gear Solid titles were Sony platform exclusives, with the first Metal Gear Solid developed exclusively for the PS1 and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots released only on the PS3.
Overall, if HipHopGamer's information is accurate, then Sony does have a creative advantage in Kojima's talents. While Death Stranding was controversial in its gameplay mechanics, there's no denying the eclectic quality of his games and what value that brings to a platform.
It would be interesting to see whether Kojima gets back to work on a horror game with Sony. If so, many will likely be delighted due to the positive reception to the Silent Hills demo. How൩ever, no Kojima-related PS5 exclusives have been announced thus far by Sony - though more will likely be revealed about the PS5 and its so🎉ftware soon.
