Konami and Fall Guys developer Mediatonic have been added to Gamescom's 2021 lineup, joining a whole host of other publishers vying for attention. Other developers also added to the lineup are Lord of the Rings: Gollum developer Daedalic Entertainment, Frontier Developments, Netmarble, Pearl Abyss Corp, and Smilegate West.
Konami and Mediatonic are undoubtedly the biggest names on this list of additional Gamescom partners, and what they're going to show is anyone's best guess. According to , Konami is promising to bring with it "new announcements and content" for eFootball, the free-to-play football game that is taking the place of Konami's once annual PES series. It's unknown as to whether Konami has anything else to show off.
As for Mediatonic, there's only really one game that could feature. Fall Guys has seen consistent updates since launch, and its possible we might see the announcement of some mid-season updates and maybe even some new costumes. It's also possible we could see a sneak peek of Season 6 as Season 2 of Fall Guys was 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:teased during Gamescom last year.
Joining Konami and Mediatonic will be some of the gaming industry's biggest names 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:including Sega, EA, Bethes💜da, and more. Just like last year, Geoff Keighley will be hosting 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:G♒amescom Opening Night Live on August 24, a two hour show of game announce🌺ments and updates.
However, those hoping for news regarding some of PlayStation's upcoming first-party titles may be left wanting. There's still no word on whether Sony is going to show up, and it looks like the publisher will be 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:skipping Gamescom like it does E3. As a result, don't expect any news about games such as Horizon Forbidden West or the next God of War.
Fortunately, Xbox will be attending the event and has recently announced the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:date, time, and d♋etails for its Gamescom stream. If the publisher's stream is anything like the one during E3, expect plenty of new announcements and updates on upcoming projects. Since Bethesda is also attending, it's possible we could see more of Bethesda's highly anticipated sci-fi RPG Starfield.
