How Do Classes Work In Last Epoch?
When you first make your character, you will have the option to choose from five different classes. Each class has their own skills and passives that can be upgraded as you level up. However, once you reach a certain point in the campaign, you'll be able to unlock one of your class's three Masteries.
Masteries unlock new, exclusive abilities for your class, drastically changing your playstyle. You won't be able to revert your Mastery choice, so pick wisely.
Mage
The Mage is a ranged magic user in Last Epoch. With the powers of Fire, Cold, and Lightning, the Mage wields deadly magic in a variety of ways. Sorcerer

Spellblade

The Acolyte is a magic-based wielder of the dark arts, raising undead to fight by her side. As an Acolyte, you have access to a variety of forbidden spells, debilitating your foes while you steal their vitality. The Acolyte can summon exploding zombies with Summon Volatile Zombie, or curse foes with Bone Curse.
Necromancer
The Necromancer specializes in summoning undead minions. Her Mastery Skill, Summon Wraith, calls a ghostly specter to the battlefield that seeks out and attacks foes while it is active. Skeletal Mages and Abominations can also be summoned by the Necr❀omancer, a🌊massing an army to deal with any threat.
