What Are Idols?

Idols are items that you can equip in your inventory panel, similar to armor and weapons, that provide a variety of stats. Howevꦏer, unlike weapons and armor, Idols can take up different amounts of space. For example, some Idols take up a one-by-one square, while others fit into a three-by-one rectangle.

Idols are found in a number of different rarities, ranging in size and power. Class-♏specific Idols provide passive bonuses unique to that class, like increasing Hail of Arrows's duration for Rogues or reducing🗹 the health cost of spells for Acolyte.

You have a limited amount of space you can place your Idols in, found in the top right area of your inventory. When all Idol slots are unlocked, you'll have 20 squares to work with when placing your Idols.

How To Get Idols

Idols drop from almost every source that equipment does. While they are a bit rarer than normal pieces of armor or weapons, there are methods for obtaining tons of them at a time, like Monoliths and Dungeons.

Certain Monolith nodes have increased Idol drops as their main reward, which will drop several Idols upon completion. Similarly, you can choose certain chest rewards at the end of a Dungeon to get more Idols to drop.

How To Unlock Idol Slots

At the start of the game, you won't have any Idol Slots unlocked. As you progress through the main story, your number of Idol Slots will slowly expand as you complete certain quests. Every main and side quest th𓄧at unlocks addit🔯ional Idol Slots is detailed below.

You do not need to complete all of these quests to fully unlock your Idol Slots. You only need to complete eight quests that unlock Idol Slots to fully unlock all 🍸of them; once you have all 20 Idol Slots unlocked, completing the other quests won't unlock more.
