Here's everything you need to k🥂now about Woven Echoes🌜 in Last Epoch.

One of the Marksman's exclusive skills is Multishot, which fires a wave of arrows at enemi⭕es, dealing high damage in a large area. Below, we'll take a look at a build that utilizes Multishot for the latter end of the leveling process, carrying you through the Monoliths stage of Last Epoch's progres𓃲sion.

Build Overview

A Marksman shooting Multishot at enemies in Last Epoch.

Pros

Cons

  • High damage
  • Large AoE
  • Good mobility
  • Weak without several Uniques
  • Close range

This build is centered around Multishot, which unlocks after putting five points into the Marksman Passive Tree. By default, this skill fires a cone of five arrows, and you can reduce the spread of these arrows by aiming the cursor further. Through Multishot's Skill Specialization tree, we'll turn it into a close-range skill that deals incredibly high damage.

To support Multishot, we'll Specialize in Dark Quiver, which provides a variety of buffs, both offensive and defensive. Shurikens and Smoke Bomb both♛ provide additional defensive layers, while Shift 🌸is our main form of mobility.

On its own, Multishot is very Mana-hungry, and with no way to restore Mana, this build can completely stall until you regenerate your Mana. Because of this, there are a few Uniques that you'll want to get, namely Foot of the Mountain and Drelkor's Compass. Both of these combined will reduce Multishot's Mana cosꦛt, allo♐wing you to spam it for free.

That said, both of these Uniques don't drop until later levels, so you'll need to level up using something else. We recommend using Detonating Arrow with the Barrage node that removes the arming time, and the Arcing Blast node that lets the explosi💞on chain to nearby enemies, giving the skill great AoE and damage. This will carry you until you're able to get the Uniques needed for Multishot.

Skills And Passives

This build's main skill is Multishot. In its Skill Specialization tree, start on the right side with Sniping, Pinning Shots, Large Quiver, and finally Giant Slayer. This node will greatly increase Multishot's single-target damage at the cost of reducing its overall damage. However, this will be offset on the left side of the tree.

On the left side, get Quick Draw, Back to Back, Hang Loose, and Point Blank. Point Blank will make Multishot deal a lot more damage at close-range, and since you'll be closer to the enemy, more of Multishot's arrows will hit them, allowing you to benefit even more from Giant Slayer. Be sure to also put points into Piercing Shots, and a few in Efficient Draw if you're having Mana issues.

Dark Quiver provides a few different buffs to this build, but you won't actually put it on your hotbar. This is possible due to the Until Dawn node, which you should focus on getting to five points as soon as possible. This will give Multishot a 25 percent chance to spawn a Black Arrow with each use.

Be sure to also get the Quick Draw node, which grants Fury when picking up a Black Arrow, and Crimson Quiver, which grants a stack of Crimson Shroud. With Until Dawn, you'll be constantly summoning Black Arrows, so keep an eye on the battlefield and grab them when you see𒆙 them to keep you🎃r buffs up.

Use Decoy on your hotbaཧr instead of Dark Quiver for an emergency taunt.

For Mobility, we are using Shift. Through the Molting and Shadowslip major nodes, shift becomes a powerful defensive tool, and Momentum makes it even better for getting around. Be sure to put a few points into Sleight of Hand, allowing you to use Shurikens when Shifting.

For Shurikens, we will be turning it into a secondary defensive buff that can also deal a bit of damage, rather than a primary attacking ability. Start on the left side of the tree and get the Scintillant Steel, Acrobatics, Behind the Veil, and Stagger nodes.

Acrobatics will give Shurikens a cooldown, but enable you to backflip from your current position when you use it, giving another mobility option on top of Shift. Behind the Veil and Stagger both let Shurikens debuff enemies they come into contact with.

On the right side of the tree, Blade Shield will make your Shurikens circle around you for a duration, and then Bladed Armor gives you increased Armor while this happens.

Finally, Smoke Bomb provides even more defensive buffs, primarily through the Concealed in Carnage, Enfeeblement, Moonlight Bomb, and Shrouded in Darkness nodes. Put points into Lingering Fumes and Generosity to increase Smoke Bomb's area of effect.

Passive Tree

For Passive Trees, we'll be primarily using the Marksman tree, but you can add a few points into the Bladedancer and Falconer trees later for some extra Dexterity and tankiness, although these aren't necessary for the leveling process.

In the Rogue tree, max out Swift Assassin first for more damage, then max out Evasion and Agility for extra mobility and damage. Put your 20th point into Steady Hand so you can unlock the Marksman tree.

In the Marksman tree, get Assassin's Quiver for a big DPS boost, and Draining Arrows for sustain. This node, along with Perfect Aim later in the tree, work amazingly well with the Peak of the Mountain and Xithara's Conundrum Uniques, which make it so you can't leech or regen health. Since these passive nodes don't count as leeching, you can still restore health this way.

For the rest of the tree, put points into Concentration, Meditation, and Reflection for some added damage, defense, and mobility. Barbed Arrows and Sniper's Gambit provide a bit more damage, and Sharpshooter helps offset the damage reduction at long-range from Point Blank in the Multishot tree. Master Archer is also essential, granting Multishot even more arrows.

Important Stats And Uniques

An example of a strong Physical Damage Bow for leveling with Multishot in last Epoch.

This build's damage-increasing stats are fairly straightforward, as the damage comes entirely from Multishot. This means increasing Bow damage, Physical Damage, and Critical Strike Chance and Multiplier will have the biggest impact on your DPS.

For defenses, most standard defensive stats will be good here. The majority of this build's durability comes from the Unique effects on armor and buffs provided by skills like Shurikens and Smoke Bomb.

Here's how you shoul❀d pr🌌ioritize your offensive stats while leveling this build.

  1. Physical Bow Damage
  2. Bow Attack Speed
  3. Physical Damage
  4. Damage While Wielding a Bow
  5. Dexterity
  6. Critical Strike Chance
  7. Critical Strike Multiplier
  8. Physical Resistance Shred
  9. Physical Penetration

And here's how t☂o prioritize your defensive stats.

  1. Health
  2. Armor
  3. Dodge
  4. Endurance
  5. Glancing Blow Chance

Uniques To Look Out For

As mentioned above, this build relies on a number of Uniques for optimal performance, but only two are strictly necessary: Drelkor's Compass and Foot of the Mountain. These two will let you use Multishot without consuming Mana, and Drelkor's Compass provides a ton of extra damage for Multishot with extra arrows and Physical Damage.

Peak of the Mountain and Xithara's Conundrum pair well together with the Draining Arrows and Perfect Aim passive nodes, letting🌳 you sustain your health while dealing damage.

The Red Ring of Atlaria is also an incredibly strong defensive ring, so try to equip two of these if you find them. Also, Nightbringer increases your offense and util🐓ity by blinding and slowing enemies with Multishot.
