The focus of this build is your Falcon. Falcon Strikes, Dive Bomb, and Exploding Trap make up most of the build's damage, while Shift is used for mobility and Cinder Strike for Mana and health restoration. This build is very versatile, and you can easily swap out skills or alter skill trees depending on your preference.
This build has very fast clear times and high damage, but requires high actions-per-minute due to its four damage skills, two of which ha🥂ve relatively low cooldowns. This means you'll be pressing your skill buttons a lot, which can be a downsiꦜde.
Skills And Passives
The core of this build are the Falcon-based skills Falcon Strikes and Dive Bomb, and the Blast Rain modifier for Explosive Trap. Each of these skills costs a decent chunk of Mana to use, so one of our priorities is lowering their cost, while slotting in Cinder Strike and Shift for Mana regeneration support.
Falcon Strikes delivers a fast sequence of strikes over a large area, dealing melee damage that scales with your Minion Damage. This attack has very little cast time and no cast animation, making it great to use while running through packs of enemies with Shift.
The Side By Side Specialization node reduces Falcon Strikes' cooldown every time you hit with a bow attack, and should be prioritized as you upgrade the skill.
Similarly, Dive Bomb has your Falcon deal tons of damage in a large area. With the Featherfall and To Shreds nodes, you can easily shred armor, making the rest of your attacks deal more damage. Rush of the Hunt is also a great node to stack points into, as it will reduce the cooldown of Dive Bomb by up to 48 percent.
Finally, Explosive Trap is the last of our main damaging skills. With the Blast Rain node, Explosive Trap will instead scale based on Bow parameters, and has a different attack animation that makes it much easier to use. You can also unlock the Siege Engineering node to give Explosive Trap a chance to summon a Ballista on use, which synergizes well with passives like Handler.
Explosive Trap can be cumbersome to use before inves𒅌ting into Blast Rain, so prioritize geღtting this node as soon as possible.
Shift is a great utility skill that grants high mobility and a bounty of other useful effects like Mana and Health restoration, increased movement speed and dodge chance, and invulnerability. The main nodes to pick up here are Velocity to shorten Shift's cooldown, Shadowslip, and Breathing Technique, which will heal you💙 for more the higher your De♏xterity is.
Cinder Strike is mainly used for Mana regeneration, but can pack a bit of damage against lower-health groups of enemies. At later stages when you have solved Mana Regeneration through equipment stats, Idols, and Passives, you can swap out Cinder Strike for something like Smoke Bomb or Decoy.
Cinder Strike restores Health and Mana through the Rogue Passive Sapꦍping Strikes, as well as the skill modifier Fire Eater.
Smoke Bomb is a great utility skill that can apply the unique buff Dusk Shroud. This stacking buff will greatly increase your Dodge Rating and increase your chance of receiving Glancing Blows. Additionally, Smoke Bomb can shred enemy armor, slow enemies, and apply Frailty, reducing their damage dealt.
Switching Cinder Strike for Smoke Bomb can be risky if you don't have enough Mana gain to upkeep Explosive Trap's mana cost. Be sure you've solved this issue before despecializing in Cinder Strike.
Alternatively, Decoy is a great option with similar utility. Through its skill Specialization, you can turn Decoy into a damaging bomb, make it grant you useful buffs like Haste, or debuff enemies with Frailty and armor shred.
Passive Trees
For your Passives, you'll want to get 20 points into the Rogue tree, then swap to the Falconer tree as soon as possible. For the Rogue tree, Swift Assassin and Guile are great offensive and defensive starting points, respectively. Later down the line, Dodge and Parry is a great node for some added defense, while Sapping Strikes is good for restoring Mana for your spenders.
Once you unlock the Falconer Mastery, your build will really start to come together. In this tree, we have important early nodes like Handler, Raptor's Wings, and Stamina of the Rover. Relentless Talons is a great later-game pickup that drastically increases the damage of your Falcon's auto attacks, Falcon St🌺rikes♛, and Dive Bomb.
