This particular man threatens Ellie with a knife after a run-in with one another and asks how she managed to find them.
Knowing that this wasn't the end for Ellie, she proceeded to tell him that h♔e can't stop this. And by this, shꦓe means revenge. Ellie stabs him soon after this quote as he fights Dina as she attempts to save Ellie. We knew he wouldn't last long as Ellie was instantly at Dina's side in defense.
9 𒁃 "But She Gets To Live." 𒈔
"Is that ok?" - Tommy, "It has to be." - Ellie
After the traumatic events of killing two of Abby's friends, one of which was pregnant, Ellie was left suffering a bad panic attack. Tommy saved her from her panicked state and escorted her from the situation. Up to this point in the game, we have sadly seen Ellie suffering from severe trauma relate🍌d to PTSD.
In the next scene, we see Ellie distanced and quieter than her normal self. When Tommy tried to reassure her thoughts of possible regret, he says that Mel and Owen got what they deserve. Ellie was quick to come back to🧸 the state that Abby is still alive and that she has to just live with this fact.
8 "Point To Where She Is On This Map🦩. An🙈d You. It Better F****ing Match Up."
In this particular scene where Ellie approaches 𓄧Mel and Owen in search of Abby, she uses a technique that we've previously seen in gameplay. Whilst on the hunt for Abby, Dina and Ellie came across Tommy's mess of two dead bodies. Joel had once told Ellie about the technique of using two people against eacꦆh other to seek information. One person would verbally say the information that is required whilst the other person would either point or write it down.
With the hopes of using the two people against each other, you would assume that they'd tell the truth. If the answers don't match up, you know that they're lying. This technique, unfortunately, didn't work for Ellie and she kills Mel and Owen before able to get any information out of the ൩two of them.
7 "He's Not A🃏 Part Of This" - "You Made Him A Part Of This." ও
At this point of the game, Ellie's mind has become so overwhelmed with hatred and grief. Weak and tire🎃d, it still won't stop her from killing Abby with what she assumed will be the final time. Abby, also weak, refuses to fight until Ellie threatens her by placing a knife to Lev's neck.
Especially after Ellie helped in killing all of Abby's friends, Abby wasn't going to let Ellie get away with this. After an iconic battle which we knew would probably be to the death, Ell♑ie has the ability to drown Abby but instead lets her go as she knows that it's not what's best, despite thinking the whole time that it is.
6 𒊎 "You're Gonna F***ing Die!"
The scene of Joel's death was undoubtedly the hardest scene of the entire game to watch, and that includes the entire gꦆaming franchise. And someone who felt th🦄e emotion of his death more than any of us was Ellie. After breaking into the Baldwin house, Abby's friends instantly grab Ellie and pin her down.
Ellie struggles to get free,♕ seeing an almost lifeless Joel on the floor and screams out threats to Abby and her friend. This is only the start of Ellie's hatred for Abby as we know that she'll stop at nothing to get 🉐revenge. This quote foreshadows events that occur in the game's future.
5 "You Shoot Me... The Sound Will Ha🔯ve Every Soldier Come Running." - "You'd Still Be Dead." ཧ
All of the scenes where Ellie finally seeks down Nora are definitely at the top for its badass vibes. Nora was in fact the one that pinned Ellie down once she broke into the Baldwin house in an attempt to save🅠 Joel's life. Knowing that she can get Abby's whereabouts out of Nora and at her peak in terms of mentality, she won't stop at anything.
After Nora runs off, Ellie is straight after her. It is beatin♍g Nora after she breathes in spores that we're able to see the evidence in Ellie's decline in mental health due to the brutality of the situation.
4 💫 "I Have To Finish It." ♑
This scene stands as very upsetting to players and especially to Dina herself, but it undeniably holds badass connotations. Ellie simply says that she has to finish "it," and Dina's facial reaction shows more than words could ever say. Those playing would instantly know what this means without any context. But for those who don't, finishing "it" refers to Ellie killing Abby once and for all.
Dina begs Ellie to stay, saying that they're happy now with their family, whilst also being terrified that Ellie won't return. Ellie assures Dina that she doesn't plan on dying to which Dina reacts with words that hit closer to home by saying, "neither did Jesse or Joel."
3 "We Could Have Killed You." - "Maybe Y♛ou Should Have."

T🐠he brutality of this scene is undoubtedly shocking. With the camera POV from Nora's perspective rather than seeing Ellᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚie hurt Nora, we are able to see the harsh look on Ellie's face as she, at that moment, feels no remorse in beating Nora to death.

This scene speaks so much more than simple words. By Ellie saying that she can't let Abby leave, it leaves every player i𝕴n anticipation of what's to come. Not letting Abby leave as we know in Ellie's world is her wꦗay of saying that she wants to fight.
We know from this epic and the iconic b𝔍oss battle between the two extremely ꦛweak characters that only one of them should come out alive. After the long wait and hours of gameplay, it all leads down to this final moment. This is ultimately the decision that influenced opinions on the game by those playing.
