Set five years after the original game, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Last of Us Part II takes place in a world that ha🅠s, in a manner of speaking, established a new status quo among the survivors of the Cordyceps Brain Infection. The Washington Liberation Front (WLF) plays a part in the story of the sequel for Ellie in her travels, but also when controlling Abby, a member of the organization.
The WLF, also known simply as the Wolves, came into power after displacing the U.S. government in the Seattle quarantine zone. Led by Isaac Dixon, the organization is extremely distrusting and openly hostile towards outsiders, and during The Last of Us Part II, is in the middle of a long-standing conflict th♔e Seraphites, a large community of roughly one thousand people that prefer the forested areas, distrust the use of modern machinery, and are more skilled in stealthy, hand-to-hand comb🤪at than traditional military techniques.
Much of the🐼 WLF’s strength comes from their extensive arsenal, which was acquired following the defeat of the military in Seattle. Since so much of the world’s population has succumb to the virus, plenty of e🌞quipment was left over for their use. Thanks to this windfall, the WLF is featured throughout the main story as being well equipped, and with several trucks for patrol.
While distrustful of outsiders, the WLF permits some to join their ranks based on attitu꧟de and experience. This is pr𒈔ecisely how Abby, Owen, Mel, Nora, and Emanuel come to join the group.
While the WLF is trained with a milit🍬ary mentality, there are notable weaknesses for which the organization is ill prepared. For one, the organization does not have access to body armor in the same was as the Rattlers. The organization is also too accustomed to fight with modern technique, which was useful in overthrowing the military, but a major part of their failure a🅺gainst the Seraphites.
Since the Seraphites consider the use of most modern-day machinery to be against their beliefs, only the soldiers use things like guns. Most others use quiet weapons like bow꧅s, and most are proficient in melee combat. This provided an unexpected advantage to the gro💝up with the WLF sought to take out the group in 2039. Despite being on the offensive, the WLF lost three entire battalions, consisting of Alpha, Bravo, and Echo.
In the end, the attack on the Seraphites seems not to have paid off. As we learn in the story, Isaac admits to Abby that the entꦏire push to defeat the group is more akin to an act of desperation than to a sound, strategic move. This final gambit is one of the few options Isaac considers available to him, and the decimation of 🌊so many of its members, along with Isaac’s death later in the story, does not bode well for the future of the organization.
